@@mollkatless I only said, he was doing good in early rounds, and catched Floyd couple of times, BUT yes he is gased, but not just because he didn't train well, u need experience in boxing to not being gased out early, you need to manage your power. It comes with experience, HOWEVER he is built like that too... Twitch fiber muscles, etc... He is just very good in the short run anyway... BUT it is not just about lazyness

Connor looked more like a boxer in this fight than a lot of boxers. He just wasn’t ready for Floyd to rain down on him in the final rounds. That’s the difference in an all time great boxer - same power and energy in the last round as they have in the first. This was an incredible fight!

I remember watching this live at my barbershop. I think Mcgregor did great considering the fatigue and I think Mayweather’s strategy was perfect. He dragged it out knowing time was the enemy’s weakness and then he came to life.

The only thing these two sports have in common is that it involves hitting your opponent. He couldn't stay on his feet for multiple rounds if it was an mma fight. It didn't look good that he couldn't finish a non-boxer, and in fact got hit more than he generally did by boxers.

In the Octagon with 4 Oz gloves mma rules. No question whatsoever. NOTORIOUS. Tho Absolutely awesome to watch live and replay this boxing match will never be replicated due to lack of originality & authenticity. Now if a Boxer came in the Octagon for UFC fighter pay it'd would be something for another one off. Even Alex Pereira winning the UFC Middleweight and LHW titles from a soley kickboxing base is impressive when people can wrestle/ground n pound/submit like Jon Jones & Khabib or with Jui Jitsu guards like Gilbert burns and Paul Craig

Floyde possivelmente ganhava a luta mais cedo, mas respeitou (ou temeu) o seu adversário, que por acaso é muito bom e lutou muito bem. A estratégia do Floyd foi muito boa, cansou o Conor, e no final fez a festa. Até endendo que o Conor previa resolver a luta muito cedo, antevendo a possibilidade de não aguentar uma luta com tantos rounds usando somente os braços. Por outro, há que reconhecer, que o Conor esteve ao nivel de vários lutadores que disputaram o ring com o Floyd, pois há quem esperava que ele fosse Nocauteado logo de princípio, e contra todas expectativas, foi até ao final, boa luta.

For Conor to go over and box the best of the best and win just about every round was impressive . I was surprised how accurate his shots were, Floyd's game plan was to let him get gassed in later rounds then barrage him with strikes and finish.

Mayweather seemed like he was just half-assing it for the payday. McGregor surprised me though. If he wasn't sucking wind the whole time he probably could have made a go of it.

This shit is hilarious. MMA fans can convince themselves of anything, lol. Floyd CARRIED him. He fucked around in there and put on a show. Half the time it looked like he was barely taking it seriously. Floyd was toying with him the whole fight.

I couldn’t help but laugh in round 6 at 7:18 where he starts to go rodeo and beats the crap out of his back and head from behind 😅 this fight I forgot this type of stuff happened. That’s because they were arm punches he walked rite into the upper cut, Conner doesn’t know how to throw a shot this ain’t ufc the gloves are bigger you got put ya legs in those shots, Floyd gave em zero respect n walked em down. Conner talked himself into some $ he knew he only had a punchers chance.

@@hellrell2611he knows how to put his weight behind his punches very well. The full rotation and extension against Diaz and Eddie is something you don’t see very often. But Ofcourse against one of the greatest defensive boxers of all time it could be dangerous to do so, looked more like he was trying to Outland him and hopefully survive to the end of the fight with a couple of rounds won

Much respect for McGregor for stepping into a foreign arena against the very best at his craft. We all knew Mayweather would win because boxing is his domain. I was thrilled that it took 5 rounds before Mayweather figured out how to beat McGregor. Mayweather is smart, very smart. Now, it you reversed the roles and went to an MMA match, Mayweather would never see round 2. That's how lopsided it would be.
