I just wanna see Conor win before he retires leg break was horrible I know he’s looked bad his past few fights but he’s literally one of the goats in his prime he was unstoppable
Poirier is a top fighter, and he hasn't looked bad, off after the leg kicks in first fight, but great round 1, and pretty good the 2nd fight (but looked like Dustin had just gotten really comfortable with Mgcregors rhythm, but then their was the leg break
He was winning against Dustin in the second fight, but Dustin's leg kicks paid off and got him the KO. As for their third fight, Dustin was edging Conor but the leg break got in the way of seeing a great fight
This is why I love Connor. I am a 55 year old competitive powerlifter. I will compete until the day I die. Am I as strong as I was when I was younger? Of course not, but there is always a competition out there for me to compete in at any age. RECALIBRATE YOUR COMPETITION! That is fucking genius.
Hey, it's Charlotte Daly from Mail Sport boxing. Yeah I absolutely loved that too. If feel like once you've been a professional athlete, you always have that competitive edge. Would you like to see him return to the cage though?
@@MailSportBoxing Yes, I'd like to see him return to the cage. It's who he is, it's where he belongs, you can never change that. I just competed in a Bench Press competition on October 13. I took the New York State Masters title, I had the second highest bench press in New York State history, I'm ranked second in the country and 42 in the World. I'm a lifter and Connor is a fighter, you can't change what you are.
He's fidgety, I know from experience when you mix uppers and downers (like alcohol and cocaine in conors case) you fry your nervous system and get like that in social situations where the pressure is on (especially with cameras as a public person). So yeah his change in behavior is due to being out of the game for years + partying it up too much.
Yeah, everything sounds like the most interesting shit you ever heard on the pow. I feel like at this point that is the reason he makes everything sound so interesting. Ya'll didn't anything if you read this before watching the interview.
dudes probably on every single natural thing too as well as stem cells and shit so i bet he feels young full of energy, also he has definitely been off gear for at least 2 months now since he just got into USADA because u cant have fucked up epitestosterone ratios and metabolites
@@Soniq_YTI've never heard Napoleon Blownapart or True Geordie sounds like there on coke. Watch the Helwani interview from a couple months ago... Connie was tripping balls 😂😂😂😂
Bro I’ve done coke so many times and still enjoying it like once a year with my friends from back home when we reunite in the summer. No speculation, no maybe it’s the coffee or any of that. Guy is on cocaine 100%… and I love it
You already know then, at the rate hes been going even the best shit wouldnt get him out of bed at this point. Hes fighting it trying to seem energetic
I used cocaine for a LONG time. He’s definitely on it. His interviews from 5-6 years ago were much calmer. He’s frantic now, and his jaw moving are telltale signs. I love the guy. Hope he gets better
@@sagelight7777 + I am well now. 4 years sober. And thank you for asking. I hope Conor isn’t heading down the same hard road addicts go down (rich or poor). It becomes miserable eventually
He's actually HILARIOUS. He's a living meme. People really don't realise how intelligent this man is, I'd like to see his IQ tested. "Coming TO ASDA" 💀💀💀 .... mate, he's selling beer to ASDA while training, making babies with his wife in his yacht, going to every event in the world and whatnot. I work, walk the dog, play with my son and watch a TV show every now and then and I'm knackered. Connor Mcgregor is arguably the most charismatic sportsman since Michael Jordan, enjoy him people.
@@oggyoggy1299 I don't. I consider myself a quite intelligent person and pretty sure you do too yet we're here talking about him and he hasn't got a clue of who we are. Think he's rather more intelligent than the rest mate
0:15 Clearly McGregor still wants to be the best version of himself and stay off his vices, but you can tell he's been struggling to do that consistently. Same thing a lot of us go through.
good to see people giving this man some love. people have loved tearing him down lately while benefitting from everything he has offered through his entertainment, athleticism, and business ventures. we gotta lift each other up
Are you a drug addict too? I can't imagine any sane person idolizing that trash...trash that makes a lot of money is still trash...just look at trump, or Dan snyder
You don’t have to like the guy to appreciate the drive, the guys a self made man, he could live off the money he made from the floyd fight but he’s in all different kind of avenues. He’s a hard working individual and that is why he made it to this level along with talent. Been amazing seeing his story unfold infront of our own eyes.
you're totally right, his life is beautiful right now. I never really liked Conor as a fighter, but I would be kind of sad if he went again to UFC and got crippled by one of these new hungry fighters, because obviously all of them know about his broken leg and you don't need to be a qualified doctor to understand that if he takes sharp leg kicks during another bout, that leg is D.O.N.E. It would just be another hard to watch fight.
Hey, it's Charlotte Daly from Mail Sport boxing. I agree with what you've said. There are plenty of people out there that don't like Conor but he has to be given credit for everything he has achieved in and out of the sport. Would you like to see if return to the cage?
@@MailSportBoxing most definitely. I am certain that he will make a flashy return one day, but this Saturday we have another super-banger waiting for our attention :))
“It keeps me in line…” many lines, Conor, many. Maybe he should build up a vacuum cleaner business. It would work superbly as he’s an expert in the field 👌
That stuff has him ruined! I genuinely hope and wish he kicks it and goes all in over the 6 months! He'll honestly feel at peace within! Then the decisions come again, which road does he walk down. ❤🇮🇪
A level of sweetness; few know. He’s not a fighter anymore. He is. He’s also rolling up to f1 in Monaco, not paying a ticket, watching from his yacht. Say what you say. He has done more to prove himself. Imagine.
These are his media bot accounts that will spam every interview etc. to promote him, or UFC's, either way they're paying for the publicity. @@aravsingh24
I remember when this guy was just entering the ufc and was excited about getting 60 g’s now look at him! He’s a complete different person it’s crazy honestly…
Conor is (or probably was) without a doubt one of the most incredible and entertaining fighter. Unfortunately it doesn't take an expert to see that he is using and definitely abusing stimulant substances, and the result is pretty explicit, disappointing and worrying. Hopefully he will make a well-deserved comeback and prove his haters wrong. Good luck champ champ.
He's so happy on the outside but internally he knows the real truth. Despair will eventually fill his heart. People that are narcissistic come crashing down to earth to face reality much quicker than the average person.
This man oozes confidence and kindness too. One day I hope to run into him, shake his hand and tell him exactly how he has inspired me to really start living my life.
Conor really doesn’t seem himself. Stumbling on his words a little and slurring, looking exhausted with bags under his eyes, erratic in his body language, his focus wavering. He’s been burning the candle at both ends for many years now, and it shows.
Its gotta be even more then coke at this point, even if he doing the best shit it would take a boatload to get him fired up now. The booze tho....thats still running its course
Dude looks more and more on edge every time he does an interview. It's like watching the end of the movie Goodfellas or Blow..when the main character has completely lost the plot on the white powder. I hope he can clean himself up....not for his UFC career...I truly believe that ship has sailed, but for his own health and the sake of his family's.
The 'im not drinking I'm gonna train 3 times' whilst clearly off his head already is exactly what he said in an interview when he first released it. It's like he's rehearsing lines.
He knocked Floyds chin back with a perfect uppercut and then Conor stopped fighting because he was paid to lose I was in the third row and saw it all A FIX
he weighs like 40 kilo more than ur used to seeing him u think his jaw will stay the same? but u out here spelling physically "phisicly" so what can u expect
He really cracks me up, and I gotta say, I’ve bought his Proper 12 whisky more than once and it’s delicious for how cheap. So, I’ll definitely be grabbing some stout when I see it in a store!
ew...Proper 12 is nasty foul stuff....it's bottom shelf alcohol with a famous face in the commercials but they didn't fix the recipie....You are MUCH better off with Red Breast, Green Spot or Yellow Spot if you're dead set on Irish Whisky. It would be like trying to sell MD 20/20 with Tom Cruise as the spokesman and upcharging it to $150/bottle....it's STILL CRAP.
Hey, it's Charlotte Daly from Mail Sport boxing. Haha, I really enjoyed chatting to Conor. Would you want to see him return to the cage or stay retired?
That coked-up, steroid headed, booze salesman looks a tiny bit like that young fighter of the same name who won world championships in two weight divisions simultaneously.
I want that connor chandler fight so bad, we all know it's gonna be epic. Either one can knock the other one out and they both are about getting the finish
if by winning in life, you mean he's made some money.....if you mean anything IMPORTANT about life, then he's a total failure....money is just a tool...when a fool talks about how he has so much money, it's a lot like a construction worker talking about how he has 50,000 hammers....not exactly a big deal, not impressive, and actually embarrassing when among those with REAL money....he has a poor man's complex and a loser's personality
@r0n718 well it's been said he's friends with those two brothers who run the biggest criminal organization in Ireland. So ya I'm sure he has no problem getting quality product
I never liked conor. But the day broke his leg, i thought to.myself aftet all that misery of rehab, despite having a decent amount of money..if he comes back he.ll have my respect
What he achieved is by design and its not by chance. He still have that mental power. If he truly wants it and get over addiction and partying he can have a comeback but it is not easy when you are sleeping on silk sheets every night.
Connor looks old now. He looks and acts like a family man... a Dad. He just doesn't have that youthful, energetic, up and coming vibe that he had ten years ago. Damn... it's been a decade since Conor's uprising in the UFC in 2013. He is still a good promoter and entertaining though. But when you get married and start having kids your just not the same.
Hey, it’s Charlotte from Mail Sport here! Yeah Conor is definitely a family man. Watching him around the pub with his kids was great, he’s so good with them. I get what you mean but I think his time away from the sport has reignited his passion. I think he’ll come back firing
Maybe. I doubt it though. The fight game is a young man's sport as Dana White would say. Also Conor is very rich and with so much money it is extremely hard to motivate yourself for anything let alone fighting. @@MailSportBoxing
My man McGregor has revolutionized the the double M A as well as Dana White’s immortal legacy! Without Connor , Chael Sonnen, and Nate… ect…ect… Mix Martial Arts would have never reached the level of success that it now has achieved currently!
Hey, it's Charlotte Daly from Mail Sport boxing. I agree. I don't think people give him enough credit for what he has built. Would you want to see him return to the cage?
He's fucking pissed. No judgement, most of us get there. But when the drink and whatever else starts to intrude on your professional life, it's a problem.
He's coked out! He's on a good one in this interview. Sad that people don't see this. It's even sadder that the UFC is helping him get back in the cage by dropping USADA. They know he's got a drug problem. They know he's doping too. I'm no fan of USADA but this interview tells me everything I needed to see.
So capable of being charming. Intelligent. Has genuine care for other people. Loves his family. Why he goes off his beam and does such stupid things is beyond me. I hope he's hit that maturity level. He's got everything going for him. I've loved his fighting in the day; but I'm rooting for his happiness much more than any match.
I see a downward spiral, you cannot compete at this level jacked up on drugs, who knows what Conor’s on now, but it will certainly ruin his life if he doesn’t stop before it gets to the point that he can’t
@@jamesmiles1328 ah okay, fair enough, I didn't catch that. I just find him so fun to watch and entertaining! I'm smiling from ear to ear when he speaks, just so great, witty and smart!
He doesn’t need to fight anymore. His record is amazing as it is. He’s coming back to fight but if he doesn’t go back to the old ways he’s just going to give people expensive losses. He looks to be in amazing shape but do we really need him back fighting? I don’t. He’s a great father and husband and his family loves him. He accomplished the impossible so if I were him I’d just retire.
The new Conor is sitting with a beautiful woman at a bar and he didn't touch a drop of alcohol, not whiskey or his new beer because he is focused on training. Isn't he awesome!
What the hell is she wearing a blazer with tracksuit bottoms and trainers 😂 and also i live on the same island and havnt been to his pub once its full of tourists
This is not unusual in terms of modern fashion. There’s been a lot of recent mixing of sport and formal in the past few years. Some of it looks like hot garbage but some looks devent
