It is said that Megaloblastic anemia is due to problem of Rbc precursor's nuclear maturation with nil or defective DNA synthesis with folate and vitB12 deficiency, if so, since all other cells other than rbc have nucleus, there should difficulty in DNA synthesis of each and every cell of adult body. Also this situation is affecting Replication of cells, So there should be a cease of new cell generation in body for the time being. Which can leads to no more cell proliferation of cell lineages in bone morrow - pancytopenia and bone marrow hypoplasia. Is this correct? If so what can be the extra erythrocytic manifestation? Can anyone explain this? Sorry if my question was rubbish😅
Doubt mam::you are saying progenitor cells have abnormal nucleus but regular cytoplasm then during late normoblasts while enucleation, nuclues removed or degenerated then RBC shall be normal again na 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔i didn't get thaat
Why is Hb low in megaloblastic anemia ? since iron is enough and Hb is formed normally and mam taught that in this anemia cytoplasm is leading means Hb is normal . so why it is said Hb is low in megaloblastic anemia
Ma'am why cytoplasm will increase in size continuously,when nucleus is in the previous stage ? As we know, size of erythrocyte decreases gradually in normal case,why here size is increasing ?
I have a doubt. In all type of anemia hb content is decreased. But in megaloblastic anemia how can MCH be elevated and MCHC normal as it is said in lectures hb content increases in proportion to volume of RBC?
