Thanks Macka!! The Boxes were in their element this trip!!! Dry storage for all our gear, used as a casting deck in the tinny, they were our seats at camp, then straight back into the car at the end of the float ready to transfer to the big boat!! 🙌

Lucky buggers, what a great Episode 2, enough Sooties to feed China, but good to see the Barra Gods have waved the curse and that Toga was bloody solid that’s for sure! Little trick, collect the lint out of your Dryer at home, put it in a plastic jar or the like, add either Metho or Kero, great for fire starters! And yeah, those Crocs would be sizing that Open Tin full of tucker up without even noticing, hell they give me the spooks! Great stuff as always lads!

Next time brothers , when the lighter doesn’t work , knock off the flame guard “silver bit” hold the gas and flick the steel flint wheel with ur other hand at the same time 9 x out of 10 it will still light another 5 or so times with a flame that’s like 5mm but it’s enough :) try it out
Just a tip guys, I've done this trip by Tinny and that deep hole where you guys talked about beer supplies and wraps. There is a 3.9 meter very very Black Salty that lives in there. I know that hole very very well legends. Thats bigger than your boat and it has been recorded on the bank there.🙏👍 Be safe as your only on literally a floating piece of Aluminium no bigger than a log. You get my drift ? I hope you guys have created an emergency strategy for assurance if one of them fellas come at the boat as we experienced doing this trip you are on.
Its time for you guys to do a floating trip down the Mitchell River from Gamboola Crossing to Koolatah Crossing. Be aware though I've done it and there are some 4 plus meter Salties in the remote parts of the river and I personally have seen them, so have a small powered engine instead of an electric to get you to the bank for safety as I've done it in an indian Canoe with electric motor and it was very scary then done it in roof topper which wash super fun, outside of that its an epic trip and mad Barra fishing along the way with 50 plus size Sooties. Go ahead and do it.
I have done exactly that same trip about a dozen times in canoes ,,up to 10years ago,to many decent size Crocs in there now ,and I have seen a slide around 4 ft wide paw to paw rite there where these boys started from
