Conquering Tide - Character Alignment Series - Episode 02: VENUS 

I'm so glad you still have faith in me, haha! I found that I was way too busy in university to work on much, hence why I disappeared for a while. I really hope everyone enjoys these comics. The comics are going to be as kid-friendly as Harry Potter, so there won't be much massively offensive cursing or other non PG elements... It will have some blood and violence, but the main focus is the characters and the story... I think it will appeal to everyone and anyone, young or older. 🙂

Don't worry, all the other main characters look the same and match the models. I will have to simplify Lokii's design a little just so I don't take hours to colour him in. But in close ups he'll be detailed 🙂

Yay! I don't want my Loki(i) to be inaccurate. I really like the original names, btw. I was super into all the different kinds of mythology when I was younger, so I love the Greek, Norse, and Roman names.

I'm not actually planning to make the whole comic before I release it. It's going to be released in pages once or twice a week online (initially, because if I can find a way to earn money from it, or do a Kickstarter, then I could do it full time). I thought the most important thing at this point in time is to get some regular content out there. People have been waiting long enough as it is. But I am taking my time to write up all of the story and major events so I know exactly how the story will progress. The first page or two will be out just before Breyerfest in July, around the 15th, maybe. They'll be free to read online, but if it's popular enough then I'll produce it in hard back and sell copies, or might even pitch it to Dark Horse Comics and see if they'd produce it. Who knows! Hopefully I'll have some merch available on the site in future too, so stay tuned 😉

Gaia will stay the same, though she does have one green eye and one brown. She was always planned to have different coloured eyes, but when it came to producing her as a model for stone horses, I think she has two greeny-hazel eyes. We decided on that because we thought if people were to show the models, they might not place if they had some unrealistic features. On Apple green eye isn't seen often in the real horse world, haha. The be honest, I might change Venus back to not having bird catcher spots if it's going to upset anyone that has the model, and she doesn't 100% match. I just always wanted to have little freckles! But again, didn't because I thought it might look unrealistic.

Nope, it's a webcomic. Animations would take me way too long to do.
