Hmmm I think it was because I was going back and forth to grab the camera that made it pretty long for me. It was kinda difficult, but if you just focus and push along. You will be able to make it to the top.
I was using the Sony 24-70 F2.8 Gmaster and using the super35 mode to get the extra 1.5x crop punch in. And maybe I was using clear image zoom as well. Focal length would be at 105mm. You might have noticed some of the shots were not in focused, as it got darker. The auto focus went haywire and I didn’t notice. The summit hike was pretty treacherous. At some point you have to sprawl on large loose rocks and volcano ash. Very high loose gravel. Extremely high speed winds. I simply couldn’t let the tripod stand on its own with the camera or it would just blow over.
