Tycho brings us onto the battlefields of Eä and the world of Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings a game of fast-paced, mass Regimental warfare!

This is the first battle I’ve ever witnessed for Conquest, and dang my perception on the 100K has really changed! I thought they’d be wrecked by every other army. Glad to see the games are so heavily decided based on tactical maneuverability over sheer stats!

@@UnkaStunka also the reinforcement system. Looks fun but I wouldn't use it. Not being able to bring in certain units because I can't roll 5 or 6's seems lame.

@@Remixersoloman You can always bring them, even heavies, they just might come later, or you gotta buy for some points special abilities on your character, such as Loyalty or Flank to ensure units come exactly when you want them. It's the list building part of the plan that pays off during the game.

WOW! This was so well done. Really loving the pacing choices and the flow in general. I think y'all did phenomenally in keeping a brisk momentum, while not losing out on any information on the viewer's end. The one thing that may need to be communicated is attack and armor rolls being based on lower rolls being better? It ended up being clear to me, once I thought about it, but it may be a nice tooltip window to edit in!

@@jaketaber6982 Not very. Pretty easy rules though the why they explain it can be confusing in some situations. However there are tons of people out there who have your back if you need info or advice.

Im looking at it, im just not sure i need another army and game. My wife would definitely say I don't (but doesn't actually care). At last count I had 23 armies across 7 war games. And that's not counting smaller boxed games like man-o-war, kill team, xwing, armada, and others. It's shocking how much you can collect in 27 years. Should probably catalog my hundreds of sprues of shame. Some of my unopened stuff goes back to early 90's metal Fantasy models. Its a terrbly expensive hobby to love.

Yep. I have 4 tables in my game room, and I made them all so they vould play anything up to 6'x4', because rank and flank desperately needs the space.

Game looks cool. Card system reminds me of Confrontation. They also have a sale going on at their website, some good deals! I just wish the minis would scale well with other miniature lines I collect, so I could also fit them into other games like Frostgrave...

There's actually a fuckload of special rules, but unlike GW they've grouped them under keywords so it makes it much, much easier to know wtf is going on.

I love how Tycho narrates the whole thing! Sounds very medieval. The lord of change was with him on crucial this day. Also Is it just me, or does the predator look bit like the Zoat from Blackstone fortress? Similar stature, gaze and colour. Just less legs.

How is it the dice roll a ton of 1's and 2's in 40K but a boatload of 5's and 6's as soon as the game switches to a low roll system?

This is a great video! I love the cut-aways and explanations! Models look great! Terrain looks great! Bravo for jumping right into a big game!!! To be that guy (sorry)... I don't think cards for heroes or regiments that are off the table get to build up Chant Markers... so Turn 1, you could have brought the Slingers on as reinforcements, THEN had the Predator's card go 2nd, giving you 1 chant... but as you did it the other way around, I don't believe Slingers, Raptors x 2, or Hunters would have started generating Chant Markers till Turn 2. I also believe the unit has to on the table to use and therefore benefit from the Chant. (so again, no using it the turn the regiment shows up). That said, Chant Markers are probably the most confusing part of Conquest... so kuddos for diving into the deep end!
