Since Trex is heavy he could only be reinforced placed behind line made from medium units in this case blooded and not raptor riders. Also Trex cannot chant since he is a monster regiment and those count as having unsung rule. And I think there was a bit too many attacks with blooded since only 2 blooded stands are actually engaged if we exclude leader stand, rest will just support 1. But other than that great video :)

There's a lot of missed rules and changes. Old Dominion took a lot of nerfs that I didn't see in this video.

Main issue on the W'adrhun side is you can only ever have 3 chat tokens. The only way to get tier 3 chanting is by having 3 tokens and the fanatic rule. Otherwise a great batrep as always!

It appears the Old Dominion, despite appearing to use undead Roman-style units, actually employ the Putties from the Power Rangers, based on Michael's attack sounds. :P

Old Dominion took a lot of nerfs to their lights and mediums. Kheres's sureshot only works against obscuration from terrain. Phalanx only allows a regiment to charge max of 3+ inches and does not allow the regiment to inspire.

Just to be a nerd, Cataphratoctoi was a byzantine type of cavalry, so the old dominion are closer to Byzantine Empire than Roman xD

Byzantine empire, not Roman. I guess you could stretch for Holy Roman Empire, but Byzantine is more accurate given the iconography and the use of cataphracts.

It's 6 clash. You get 5 clash and Relentless blows as a special rule if you would get bonuses pushing you to C6.

Forgetting the fight on death I think was big, as if I recall prior games, that fight on death ability is pretty impactful. Also, I'm honestly not sure who was sillier this video; the players of the editor.

The fight on death only applies to front arc so the horses would get some damage.

Is there, like, a possibilty for the Old Dominion to lose? Every time I see one of these battle reports they always annihilate any opposition, even if everything on the other side goes almost perfectly. They just say: "Whatever", regenerate, shrug off hits, countercharge and kill everything.

In my local meta they barely ever win, so It's just a matter of the list match-ups I think. Also the lower the points the better Dominion is, so there's that too

@@sergeantbanzai2462 Don't know exactly, but we have a problem with Dweghdom. I tend to outplay OD pretty easily with my Spires, they are slow and not particulary heavy hitting, so I just outmaneuvre them.

Old Dominion don't like ranged fire. Sidesteps a lot of the Aura of Death they can do and ranged doesn't cause Resolve anyways so you aren't losing out there shooting into them.

It helps to play the rules properly as well. But if they played as often as they play 40k they would have all that down and the games would be more even The games are still great and entertaining. Certainly the best Conquest content on RU-vid so far
