You always get 1 free unit per turn that can enter as long as its its class is allowed to enter that turn. So turn 1 the HK would only roll 1 die first turn as 1 of the two light units would auto enter
Also, Characters can't Inspire themselves right before a Duel like that. They only get one Action when their Command Card is pulled because they also act with their regiment
@@CinderfallGaming I recently stsrted to paint 100K army and still going through rules, but it seems to me that 100K player was rushing to fast (especially with crossbowmen). Wouldn't keeping hoplites at exactly 9 inches to prevent them from charging and having full volley and then falling back for a turn be more beneficial in this situation than taking aim and shoot?
The 100K player should have received less damage for his Militia in the initial combat as they rolled Resolve on a 2 or less which didn't include the R bonus for big regiments. Moreover the Minotaurs shouldn't have charged in rund 5 as they were blocked by the Phalangites who were engaged and thus make movement through them impossible for both players
