In this video I give a brief overview of each of the five available factions for Conquest The Last Argument of Kings, a fantasy war game from Para Bellum.
I just picked up the first blood starter box. A buddy of mine was obsessed with the undead legionaries and I have to confess they look dope. But nothing is cooler than orcs with dreadlocks riding a Tyrannosaurus rex.
Thank you very much for this faction overview. Started in summer with The Spires but apart from being smashed repeatedly by 100 Kingdoms i do not have a lot of experience with the other factions. Really looking forward to your future deep dives.
I think you had "Executor" correct in your initial use of the word, but when you corrected yourself I think the pronunciation you were aiming for was "Executioner" (at least the way you used the word anyway) But as for deep dives, that would be great! There are a lot of videos out there doing batreps or explaining the lore - but not too many explaining "these guys are tanky and play like this" or "those guys are fast but light armoured" etc.
Nords are pretty unique in that you can craft just about whatever footprint you're wanting and be effective. You can build a big army with over ten small units (so 120ish models) or use their more elite stuff like giants, chosen, and huskarls. The first model I bought for them was the ice jotunar :)
Another thing to keep in mind is that the easiest way to take an ice jotunar is to get him in a konungyr's warband and he has the requirement that you have to have a Jarl in the army so those are things you'll want to get. Start looking at their warband options to see what you can build with.
