Played my first game tuesday, mate split his 100 kingdoms and we played a quick match up, really enjoyed it. Have old dominion on route, hope you get them on the channel soon!

Tycho, beyond the fact that I’m a blood angels player and your name is just plain bad ass and you could be your own 40k character, you put so much effort and story and ambiance into these videos, I can’t help but get so psyched up for your battles! Great battle rep! Saw it on the Conquest Discord, so wanted to check it out. During the last Clash between the Centaurs and the Knights, I’m almost certain that the Inspire wouldn’t have brought the Clash Characteristic up to a 5 - with Burnout active, the Centaurs would be striking on 4’s and under, but rerolling 6’s due to Inspire (rather than bumping up to 5’s). Edit: Like you guys said, Conquest matches always feel rather close. I think that’s ‘cuz it’s actually so rolling-centric. Absolutely very few things are “guaranteed” in this game, even though it encourages tons of action to happen.

With a few games under their belt I wonder. Which game these two are now more excited to play? Conquest or 40k? I'm a big 40k fan but conquest looks more fun to play to me

I think charging the burning-out Drones forward just so they can get broken to save the character, giving up the home objective (as the incoming Brutes cannot hold both home objectives, obviously), was not the right call. Neither was running the Brutes forward while the Drones were still holding the line, giving up the home objective again for no immediate advantage. They would've charged just as successfully on the next turn as they did the way Nick played them, but give another victory point to him before that. So that's two aggressive moves that actually cost Nick points and achieved nothing, where simply repositioning to hold said objectives would've been better, right? So while fun and making for a closer game, the aggression wasn't the winning strategy (although the charging Avatara were great). The Drones coming in on turn 1, putting Tycho on the back foot from the start, now *that* was huge!

Noble Lord should have died fighting because his unit was wiped before he had acted in the turn

Not sure iuf you guys realised, but the knights' formation at the end that basically held the objective was illegal :) min 2 stands wide for every regiment.

The Spire are objectively the protagonists and heros of the story of Conquest. Every race on Ea other than dragons exists because of them or because they allow them to.
