It was a breath of fresh air watching you two on Go' Morgen Danmark!! I'm the type of guy who is not a big fan of standup but you, Conrad, are amazing.. Can't wait to see you live in Fredericia, January 2024! 😁😁
I love Denmark, Denmark is like the weird kid in the classroom who doesn't talk to anyone and everyone ignores. but one day you talk to him immediately you want to be his best friend for ever, even marry him ❤ like me 😅
If you think Danes and Denmark friendly and safe, try travelling in South Korea 😉 I'm born, raised and live in Denmark and I was culture shocked at how nice, polite South Koreans are and how clean and safe Seoul is. Like, you can leave your laptop and phone in a cafe and come back half an hour later and its still there - you cant do that here in Denmark. I love these things though, learning and discovering new things, both about other cultures, but my own as well. I totally get Annie and Conrads fascination and love for another culture, than the one theyre from 😉
Many of the fancy Latin words in English are actually constructed in the same fashion 😉 - you just don't think about it normally. When you "survive" in English, you litterally "on-live", whereas Danes "over-live" ( overleve ). You could potentially translate many of these Danish compound words into "English" word for similar word, and they would potentially make some sort of sense 😂 Indse = In-see" (realise) overdrive ( exaggerate ) udgive = "outgive" (publish / pretend ). Etc.
Don't mind all the small details in the language. Lots of Danish - born and raised - makes grammatical mistakes on the daily. - Be free, when you practise the language. You'd also understand if someone said that "You am amazing!" 🤣😋 - 'cuz you are! 😀
No dane is fluent, its just something wee say, and the language is not done yet, only about 10%-15% is actually writet down. And the real Rigsdansk dialect is lost too history. Just some facts
