i kinda like the “older” version of consequences (the one with the little riff at the beginning) than the one released on Wake Up and It’s Over, cause the little riff at the beginning adds so much to the song imo

I have watched this more than once. I really love this cover

as a person who usually doesn't enjoy covers, that instrumental was such a good one. you took it simplistic, accurate, and you've added your own charm of a little bit of nostalgia. it was only the disonnance you've played at 0:08 that went too hard on me, but it was fine. also i'm not a huge fan of a part of the lead guitar part that comes after the 1:52, i think it needed a bit more up and downs at the place the letter q is spelled if the vocals were singing it (i'm not sure if "up and downs" is the right technical term for this but you get it probably) on the bending parts and i think the place where the vocals would say "actions" needs to be in a different note than that. (the lead that comes before that part is straight fire and makes the instrument speak, except that bend at the 1:32 but it was fine). the singing feels a bit dull (or rather colored in a wrong way? like that "years" part that comes after the 0:44 . I know it sounds cooler when you sing it, but sometimes it isn't really the case when it's being listened) and at an unfitting tone (the pitch feels a bit too far from the instrumental), wilbur likes to color his voice (like maybe hitting a lower note on the vocals at 0:58 for the word "smoking", like slowly lower the pitch and then rise it up half as much as he lowered it, all in that one word) (and maybe also that "break my life" in 0:59 could fit the song better the way wilbur sings it on the new lovejoy album he just released, it feels like he didn't try to cut his voice off but he just let it go wider and chill out) that also feels a bit more like a normal speech tone and I think his voice mixes well with the instrumentals; which is unique, very indie, and i'm a fan of. this is mostly my personal thoughts and probably not so objective and doesn't include the proper technical terms. but overall, a cool one.
