Yep... Chris's BRZ ruined me. I've come across a dilemma: Keep running the less competitive, more expensive G8, or jump ship to a quicker, used, BRZ/FRS and actually have a shot of winning in the bigger classes. Life is hard...

Yeah, I really do enjoy the Pontiac. But the ideas of saving some cash and actually running a competitive car were really tempting. Don’t let it be a dream! If your car is safe for the road, chances are its safe to autocross. And don’t worry about being slow. Everybody is when they start.
Yeah this is an expensive car to mod compared to most, but I think it will be well worth it when it's done. It's unique and rare, that makes up for it in my book. I've had mine for 6 years and the only mod I've managed to get is CAI. Hopefully someday I'll have more money to put into it(it's driving me crazy!). I'm glad you're keeping it, us G8 owners gotta stick together :-)
Hell yeah. Its a great car, for sure. And I do like the underdog status of such a big heavy car. She’s gotten a lot of love this season from people at the track, mostly based on the reasons you listed. Its interesting, because I was never a big fan of the BRZ/FRS... until I drove one around a course. Now I have a benchmark to aim for.

Awesome! It's a fun car, for sure! And thanks! I don't have an instagram because I'm a 70 year old man trapped in a 30-something's body. But you make a good point. I probably should jump on there to better document this.
