J.. I have been on eBay since 1998. At first it was shoes only because I owned a brick and mortar shoe store. I sold all of the Limited Jordans that were volume controlled by Nike. Always auction in those days. Start at a dollar and let the market dictate. Always 3-4x retail. That being said I went full time reseller a few years ago and it has changed my life. Kevin and Kayla are my other favorites but since I have found your channel I rank you right at the Top. Alll biz and no Fluff. Appreciate that. Please keep it up!
Oh gosh, we had the same problem listing Kate Spade shoes. Twice returned for color. We put a crayon next to it to match color. It sold 3rd time, and she loved them 🎉🎉😂
I get crayola crayons - and I match a crayon to clothing, etc - I put the color on the crayon on it. No problem of not being as described - you could put a picture with the crayon showing the color.
Mauve is a pale bluish purple, between violet and pink. I dont know if you know, but Kate Spade was obsessed with color. I have 6 pairs of her glasses and the color variation is why i love them. Purple or pink is where the artist starts. Womens stuff can be really tricky but you seem cool with it so not a big deal.
Don't take anything personally is the second rule of The Four Agreements, and that certainly applies here. You might try using the Pantone color chart in your listing to show a color number that matches the item.
remember that dress controversy that went viral some people saw black and some people saw white? I can't remember the colors but that's what the shoes remind me of. You should list as "depending on pov"😂
Dude, I love that you don't gatekeep your strategies. I'm gonna try the draft bank idea, because you're absolutely right that consistency is rewarded by the algo. I know you're west coast, but what do you think the best time is to schedule the drafts to go live? Do you do a dump or feed them in throughout a certain time frame?
My channel is more education based. Without the focus on live sourcing I’m not sure if 100k is super in reach but I’m gonna crush my way to 20k and go from there!
Wanted to jump on and say thank you!! In a previous video you were talking about sunglasses. I found a pair of Oakley’s in like new condition laying in the bottom of a bin today. I only paid a dollar!! I wouldn’t have looked twice if I hadn’t seen your video.
Ok you can do that one poly bag shirt ship done, but do you ever think what the buyer thinks when he gets the package? Do you see repeat buyers buying you shirts or any kind of clothing again? Just curious
I do well with grading with PSA. May want to look into it. Some pretty nice margins if you know what you are doing. Yes the market has softened but there is still good stuff out there that multiplies when you get a PSA 10. Just had a nice ohtani and Kobe come back PSA 10, nice 6-9X on getting both in a PSA 10. $1200 for tani and $900 on Kobe now.
Hi JRide! Love your vids! Who did you get the mystery box from? You said Imma resell it Shay goon? Interested in seeing if I can get one to try. Thanks!
So -obviously you have experience and you said you've had no problem. I do the exact same thing although once in a while, I have been known to put some thing in a poly inside. However, with all that being said, is that sometimes I use a staple gun and I staple, the sides near the top if there is a big gap. Because I was told by a postal worker that that is how items get lost or destroyed in the Postal Service because that gap part they catch on the machinery. I hope it never happened to you. I'm just throwing it out there. Sometimes I don't remember to do it but often times I just have a small stapler and I'll just click on each time.
I Use to sell on E bay, LONG ago. It was not a business it was just selling stuff I did not need. Now hear and SEE that E bay is ASKING for Your SS # ? I would not think they could ask for your personal info? I do not feel safe with that Hole idea! I want to try ebay again BUT Not with them asking for my SS number! I have found some people saying NO they are NOT suppose to be asking for that. I mean its NOT like you KNOW them and HOW is looking at your info.
REQUEST... could u please do a quick video in how to hook up the vhs/dvd players to the tv. For the love of Jesus I can not figure that out...too many connectos or plugs...thanks
What’s your shipping & handling time set to for your items? How do you find inventory for your source is it mostly garage sales, private sales, thrifting?
Where do you source things like the box of cameras? I'm fairly new to reselling and trying to get ideas on where to source other than garage sales/thrift stores. Appreciate any advice. Thx!
@@JrideFlips I hope my Walmart does that soon. The only thing we have marked down is Select Baseball, Heritage Baseball, Sage Football, Leaf Football and Bowman’ Best Baseball. It’s sad.
I used to... and learn many lessons along the way how to word things. Mostly i put myself as a buyer and do ask the questions that a buyer will want to know...anticipate complains...@@JrideFlips
I need to know where to get good boxes for shipping commonly sized items like VCRs, DCD players, etc. I've just been getting boxes wherever i can for free or cheap., but i end up having to combine and cut down boxes for longer or larger items, which looks unprofessional Any suggestions?
