🐟 110+1 jerkbait - amzn.to/3WdXxpB This bait consistently catches big smallmouth bass when shore fishing Lake St Clair, it'll never let you down! (Above are Amazon Affiliate Links)
Yeah everyone was getting them on tubes up until point Temps starting dropping, the megabass kept catching them until dusk... Reaction style bait draws out their hunting characteristics, you just have to pause longer and lighter jerks as it gets closer to nightfall and Temps drop in the spring!!
@@clydesokuwaga Why wouldn’t I be okay? There’s more to life than just social media and fishing. I needed a break and I took one at the end of 2021. I’m doing better than ever.
Yep! Always love metro, never know what you're gonna see, ive seen a buck walking on way back. Little minks running around, pike and musky cruising the surface, bald eagle, all types of different species of birds... It's really all you ever wanted from a park, amazing people take it for granted. I used to think grosse pointe shores park was the best for fishing, but now I'm thinking Metro. Dude some anglers get musky on south side, day sail side, you could probably go out on the beach area with waders and catch musky...
Hey I’ve never fished lake saint clair, are you at the metro park? Because I’d love some suggestions on where I could fish on docks or shorelines because I’m boat-less lol
Yeah Metro park 16 mile, can't go wrong fishing of the two piers targetting smallmouth with tubes, jerkbait, squarebill or chatterbait. If you're going for largemouth, along the canal sea wall or back in the black creek bay with spinnerbaits, chatterbaits or shallow jerkbaits ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CAZcE1OGQNM.htmlsi=lj5da8zW9mXeWdHP Getting yourself a kayak can go a long way too or plastic pontoon pelican bass raider with trolling motor, pretty affordable! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X689QEVsXRc.htmlsi=3LH_gNCtiD0zyOFa
Yep, still gotta put a lot of work in with the jerkbait, but it pays off! Never get used to the fight and strength of those smallmouth, they always surprise you every spring after a long winter.
Shimano Nasci 3000, 7 foot drop shot Falcon Jason Christie rod with i think medium action, Ill double check, and 20 lb power pro double uni knot to 40 lb fluorocarbon leader. It really is perfect rod for me and working jerkbait, stiff rod works really good. Would like to buy a few more of these rods...
