I know exactly what are the strong and weak points of every gaming platform, so I'm not being a fanboy, I'm being objective. From technological standpoint, consoles are where PC was 5 years ago, but on the freedom standpoint, they are somewhere in the 80's of the past century.

Luke Middleton If they worked together, then console peasants would have no other choice but to use whatever they make. Pc? No, that is 4k more than they can handle. Wii? No, if they are fanboys of Sony or Microsoft they would not switch to Nintendo. Older consoles? No, Sony and Microsoft can just shut down the servers. Whatever they would do, 144p or $1000 price tag, the fanboys would have to buy it.
