Part 1 of a series of tutorials on how to construct joural covers with different techniques and designs.

Gorgeous journal covers , love the variety and honestly can not pick a favorite because they all so gorgeous. Yellow labs are the best I had one when I lived on an acreage but now I have a little Yorkie poo, my little boy. You are so lucky to be able to have so much family together at one time. The poor guy all those women in one house. Enjoy the joys of being the gramm to do all the spoinling. Thanks for sharing your wonderful positive news and these beautiful cover. My Sweet Lori, thank you🥰🥰🥰 I Hope to get the other videos going soon. I’ll have to figure out how to manage my time now that I have Mom here.. Tana named her Yellow lab puppy, Byrdie. After my Grandma/ her great grandma.💕💕💕 I love it!!! Rich will be ok🤣 he takes it all in great stride. He is so patient and kind. I kinda love that fella of mine.🥰 have a wonderful weekend XOXO

I saw your chat with Gayle at her retreat and come over to see your work. I love these covers! Just gorgeous. What a beautiful place to live! Sweet Eve I got your package yesterday and its killing me not to open it. My son ordered me a camera so I can do RU-vid videos and opening your package will be my very first video I am so excited. Oh my goodness, you need to open it🤭 I’m afraid it is just the journal...no extra little goodies... you are the sweetest!!! Tana and I are the in rout to North Dakota ... will pick up the puppy at 8:00 and meet up with my Mom at 10:00!💕then back to Bozeman. Have a wonderful weekend my dear friend!!! Hugs and kisses !

I like those butterflies journal covers too🤭 so... my family and their pets are here!!🤣 it has been super fun and chaotic at times. But I am loving every minute... I might have to burn the midnight oil to do my videos 🥴 not sure how I can do them when my Mom is visiting

Wow!! The art work is soooo speaking to me. I went and favorited MT Girl's shop & will be shopping there asap. I love your layouts and the pointers on how to make the covers. As always a big help to me. Now I don't like the cold & I am an island girl, but where you live is so pretty. I might be able to get use to the cold. lol Hugs!!

The digitals are so beautiful... the layouts are on the simple side but the print is what makes it extra special. The island girl could come out in the summer 😉

Hi Haley, I got the tape from amazon it is called Duck Fiberglass Reinforced Gummed Kraft Paper Tape. I’m so happy you liked the video, and yes, I’ll keep them coming... got to figure out a routine, now that everyone is here at my house.🥰

Is there a certain brand of packing tape you like? I haven’t seen anyone else use that for the spine. I’m learning all the ways to make junk journals I can find on RU-vid. I am planning on making one for my son’s baby memory book as my inaugural junk journal. I started a test one out of a cereal box but I’m really not liking how it’s turned out and I’m just at the cover lol. But I’ve watched a few of your videos and it’s given me some wonderful inspiration so I may just start over on my test journal lol!

Oh my goodness how did I miss your comment?!!😳 I’m sure you finished your sons journal by now. I’m sure it turned out beautiful. If you have any questions I’ll surely help. The packing tape I get is from Amazon. It has strings in the paper to strengthen it.

I am a new subscriber and I have a question. I see you are using cardstock on the outside but are you also using another piece on the inside to make it stronger. Also what brand and weight do you use. I have seen people use chipboard and did not know if this is something you do.

Thank you for your inquiry. I use bazzille basic cardstock. It is #80 lb and yes I do reinforce it with either another piece of cardstock or i use my scraps of heavy duty file folders. I hope you find this helpful 💕
