I’m so pleased you like those pages, Ann Kathy. They truly do add a special something something to the pages🤭😍😍 I wish there was a quicker way of attaching them, however there’s something relaxing about the process.

Karyn I was about to pull my hair out😜 To re record so many times…😳😑Then when I had to airdrop it on my iPad from my computer…to go to a neighbors house to upload the video on RU-vid… For some reason the AirDrop didn’t want to work. I was like…. REALLY !! Ooph 😝 Happy it finally came together… also happy it was happy hour at my neighbor’s house 😇 Your so kind, your words about my art… I can’t describe how it has touched me. Thank you so much💕💕💕

Miss you too Veronica! I hope you’re right, I do feel so energized after our retreat and just hanging out with all our new and talented friends. Hello BB, Its not exactly difficult but it is time consuming. I always think I’ll just pop in and do something real quick and it never is quick 🤔 but I have realize that it is truly something that I love and so I’m happy to do it no matter how long it takes. The sewing of the seed beads take a quite a bit of time but then when I see them in the journals it adds so much character and so appealing to the eye, so I feel like it’s worth it. Thank you, I so appreciate your kind words and I’m so pleased that you like my journals 🥰

What a nice thing to say!!! Thank you Sally. I do enjoy playing and letting myself get lost in the process. You should give it a try!! I just recorded a new video today where I made 20 some journal covers that I’m going to list in my Etsy shop. I will have Journal Covers, Naked Journals, and fully loaded Journals. Hello Kay, I did double the card stock only on the rose/ blue and rose / brown (weastern) journals… on the spines only I have not reinforced the spine on the Tim Holtz paper journal covers, however I do plan on reinforce them before I stitch in the signatures. I’m pleased that you like these and yes! I’m filming the tutorial next🤗 Thank you for stopping by my channel 🥰

Hello Erintube360. Yes it is a blanket stitch. I didn’t know the name of it but another friend had mentioned that as well, thank you. I did sit and watch some television while stitching a few of those. Maybe I listen to the television more than I watch because I had to pay attention to what I was doing😜 I will be filming a tutorial next🤗

Hi Deborah, thank you! Let’s see, most of my journal covers that I showed here are made from card stock from a company named Bazzel. I believe but not completely sure that it is 80 Weight. I also like to use heavy duty file folders as the base of my journal covers. The cream colored journal with the owl on it is made from Tim Holtz paper line and it is also a card stock. I like how they are sturdy but if you want it to be even more you can add extra cards stock to the inside covers so it feels more book like. I hope this helps and if you have any more questions feel free to ask. 😊

These are so beautiful!! I'm relatively new making journals. Question: what do you use to adhere the cardstock to reinforce the cover? I have had several problems with glue not holding the edges and using double sided tape is difficult to work with and I have ruined some covers. Thank you for your help and for your videos. BLESSINGS

Thank you Toots 🤗 I use packing tape that has strings trough it. I ordered it from Amazon. I actually recorded a video today about my process in constructing my journal covers.
