Hello and welcome to Peeglobal Engineering Limited. I'm Engineer Abraham, a registered engineer with over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. I'm excited to share with you our current project, which involves constructing a 2-story building with a penthouse using pie foundation.
Our soil test results indicate that a 24-meter deep pie foundation is required, with a total of 59 piles distributed across the site. Here's an overview of our process:
1. Setting out and drilling of piles to the depth of 24 meters
2. Installing reinforcement cages and casting
3. Repeating the process for all the piles
4. Allowing the piles to gain strength for 28 days
5. Jackhammering and breaking piles head
6. Installing formwork and blinding
7. Installation of reinforcement for piles cap
8. Installation of starter bars
9. Casting of the pile cap to level to be able to install the ground beam.
10. After installation of ground beam, then proceed the complete casting
11. Filling of the foundation and compaction
12. Blinding and installation of floor slab reinforcement
13. Casting of floor slab.
