Tidy for someone who doesn't really do lead. Next time your doing this detail instead of dressing it down from the centre like you done. Raise the lead slightly over at the left hand side up somewhat and gradually boss that over to the centre so your moving the lead more so than stretching it. Not knocking m8 you done a good job. Just a bit of advice

Appreciate the advice m8 I've just picked up from trying it out when I got a chance to do it no one really showed me how to do lead work as it shows I would love to learn how to do it proper lead burning and the rest that goes with it

@@onpointplastering m8 as I said you done a very nice job nothing wrong with it whatsoever. I've seen so called roofers not come anywhere near as well as you done. You obviously take pride in your work and like to do things right. Just thought I'd share a lil tip with you. Another lil tip is use heat. I use a Rothenberger gas bottle. What you'd see a plumber use. Not too much just a lil heat just before you start dressing/bossing the lead. Makes a big difference m8 especially as the code increases. Again nice work m8. All the best hope it helps👍

Seems ok to me you can always warm it with a blow torch 👍☘️🇮🇪🤟

You can but I never put naked flames near a house lol a heat gun might be better option heard some horror stories of houses going up in flames and saw the aftermath of one such incident cheers for watching👍💪

Also in future only ever nail the very top of the lead to allow expansion and also even further water proofing, the next peice will be covering all the nails with the 150ml lap

I'm seeing videos with some nailing the lead all the way down and others only nailing at the top of each piece. Is top nailing only the best way?

May I suggest using a blow torch to heat the lead up it becomes very much more maluable so easier to work with and boss, it won't end up looking like a wonky old bit of tin like yours does

I've seen people do that in the past but no way would I put any flame near a roof just asking for trouble and everyone had started somewhere learn from mistakes made

Looks ok, i would have used a 500mm piece at the bottom of the valley, folded it up that side you bossed it into to create a neat corner, then bossed it into the valley, then valley lead come down over that, would have been far easier for you and look sharper 👍
