Scott, I purchased Adrian’s RTS based on your review - you were bang on. It’s an all time showpiece. This review is also really good. You consistently give direct and meaningful insight about all of the products you review. Thank you for being willing to share your road warrior expertise.

Love the review! One question though; is it not just an index or accomplishes what an index would do? What would you say makes it stand out from doing a similar trick but with an index?
@EverythingMagicPro99
@EverythingMagicPro99 5 месяцев назад
It’s not an index at all. When you start the routine you don’t need to go in to any pockets. You can produce any one of 6 court cards from each hand, visually, out of thin air.

As always, really appreciate the honesty and lack of spin in your reviews. In the same spirit, you need to balance up the two sides of you moustache LOL.

lol yes, I know. I have 25+ years experience with magic but only 4 months experience with a moustache. Still figuring it out.

It looks a lot like Blake Vogt’s Invisible Card from Theory 11.

I don’t own Blake’s Invisible Card but that is referenced and credited on the tutorial, as is Joshua Jay’s Inferno and various other effects.

Are the gimmicks cardboard or are they plastic or even tyvek? Just thinking of the durability of the gimmicks as this is pricey if it’s going to wear after time like a regular card would
@EverythingMagicPro99
@EverythingMagicPro99 5 месяцев назад
They’re a durable plastic that wipes clean and will last a really long time. Trust me when I say Thinking Paradox deserves £150 for the custom made gimmicks. They’re meticulously crafted to perfection.

Great review, thanks👍. For me, the price is just crazy for this. As a person that carries a Shadow wallet as EDC, I can in essence do a version of this effect with what Shadow Wallet provides (I do a variation where the spectator throws their imaginary "thought of/selected card" at my small wallet that has been in view the entire time. And low and behold, that card appears into reality as the only card in my wallet). Just an example, but with minor tweaking, I could recreate this exact effect with little effort using what I already have. And the Shadow wallet is less than half the price of this.

Price is justified. I understand a similar effect can be performed but trust me when I say you cannot replicate the mechanics and the ultra-clean production of a folded card or the other mechanics like the freedom of producing any one of twelve cards from one empty hand. This is a true professional standard for the effect. I do agree it will be out of most people’s price range though.

Great review, unlike Magic Tv you have understood the power of this effect and its purpose. Thanks

Do a review on leviosa by Jao Miranda 😁
@EverythingMagicPro99

It’s not an effect I want or will use, so I won’t be buying it. If people donate to the channel fund via the links in all of the video descriptions I’ll purchase it for review.

If you like the effect, you’ll probably like the gimmick. It is a bit $$ for a one hit wonder, but it’s nice that it’s all self contained. The only downside compared to a normal haunted pack is the extra pocket space required. This isn’t happening with a real deck of cards. It’s a two-piece shell that you switch in after they pick a card. I keep my Leviosa gimmick/deck inside Greg Wilson’s Cold Case. The Leviosa shell is thin and delicate with impressively tiny electronics, so the Cold Case gives it protection and also facilitates the deck switch. I will still use Nick Einhorn’s Spooked most of the time, which is a more traditional hookup with a reel simply because a reel is a lot more versatile. But I don’t regret buying Leviosa at all. On the first day playing with it, I thought I was going to hate it because the thread broke over and over, and it was quite a learning curve to repair it. However, I eventually tried turning the power down to the lowest setting, and that completely resolved the problem. I haven’t broken the thread since (maybe about 100 performances). I also think the lower power produces a much more realistic haunted deck animation. Bottom line is that it’s incredibly well made and if your performing situations and attire (or close up case) have room for a one-trick deck, and if you have patience for a fussy invisible thread learning curve, I think you’d like it a lot.

a wonderful review, but a bit to much for my wallet.

Yes, it is pricey. A professional product for progressional magicians. The good thing about the price is that not many people will be performing it. Glad you like the review.

Petty gave this zero…?!

Good for him. Craig’s poor reviews are one of the reasons I started reviewing. As I would watch his reviews sometimes and I knew what he was saying was lies and nonsense. Craig has said he plays a “character”. His channel is for entertainment purposes. Mine is for educational purposes.

After your attitude to Craig Petty calling him a pervert, unfortunately I’ve had to unsubscribe to your channel. I hope more do the same.

My attitude? I called a spade a spade. Craig Petty Magic TV is a grown man who followed hundreds of young girls. You supporting him says more about you than anything.
