good work, except where it's not. 439 servos do NOT go at the tail.! they go INSIDE the fuselage, NEAR the cg.! why is this so.? because Distribution of MASS is very IMPORTANT, in an aircraft.! 439 thick trialing edges make More Drag than thin ones do. a lot more. 546 a control horn should be mounted such that, when the control surface is in its neutral position the linkage point in the control horn IS located 'directly' above/below the hinge line.! at the same time, there must be adequate clearance at a hinge. the solution is: the use of offset in the design of the base of a control horn; and Correct location/installation of the horn. the latter is not demonstrated here. 618 these should be NINETY degree bends.!!! 654 !!! the linking component Should be Solidly attached to each elevator half. because, the linking component is continually transmitting 'control' Torque (in one direction), while it is Resisting 'feedback' torque (in the other direction). 946 try to use less glue, at joins where doing so is logical. extra glue adds Mass. extra glue does not make the foam material at a join any 'stronger'. 1303 (the Mass of) aileron servos should be located just forward-of THIRTY percent of chord; aka the cg line. to the extent that it is practical, a control surface should have the shape of a Parallelogram. d googletranslate

1440 note that the cartoony cockpit makes significant drag, at its front And its aft. this model has ended up having a motor glider planform. imo, a reduction of the wingspan should be considered; maybe eight inches less. such a reduction in the wingspan should: 'improve' the span-wise dom, reduce the auw and increase both roll axis stability and responsiveness. 1445 sounds like a stiffer prop should be used. it is not clear whether the model's flight behaviors are suffering from bad piloting and/or cg and/or dom issues. d

There is not enough weight on the front, I admit, but I took it into account in the description. the flight was done with a 1600ma and I recommend a 2200. I didn't have a large enough propeller in stock either, the tests were done with an 8040 which was much too tight
