Consultancy or No Consultancy: The eternal question for medical PG in Germany.
Foreign Doctors who want to do their postgraduation/specialisation training in Germany have to often make a decision if they should hire a consultancy to assist them through the entire process, or should they do things on their own and save the huge sum the consultancy will charge. In this video I have discussed different perpectives and hope this video will help fellow doctors make an Informed Decision.

It must be annoying to be asked the same redundant questions all the time from people for the things you've already mentioned many times before. Your videos are great and personally appreciate the time you take out to make them.

Another great vid sir!! amazing! but some new questions have poppd up: 1.is telc b2/c1 diffrnt from normal b2/c1?? 2.can i come on job seeker visa, get approbation, n then do hospitation? is this way valid in your opinion?(combining steps from your prev. video) 3. is hospitation 'less probable' now in 'all' of germany? 4.to support myself during hospitation, can i work in cafe/fast foods or i cant at all without EU blue card?

Thank you Dr. Mishra for your prompt reply to my previous question! I am originally from Armenia(which is a part of Bologna convention, this is a sort of educational systems aligning program for the EU associative partners such as Armenia, Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, which basically means that our educational systems are equivalent to EU members states(well kinda)). Not to complicate things with details, I would like to know, in case if our MD degree matches with all the courses/credits with German requirements, do we still have to pass the Approbation exam? And about consulting, if the time comes would it be possible to rely on your help regarding my further steps, specifically regarding my Specialty MKG -Chirurgie, for which I have to get an approbation both in Medizin and Zahnmedizin. Obviously for an appropriate charge for your services. You seem more sincere and reliable than most of the agencies of unknown origin! Kind Regards Dr Arakelyan

Hello Sir.. I'm an Indian Student from Armenia and I'll be done with my studies in two months. My only question is that, will I be treated as an Armenian graduate(provided I also get my registration here) or do I require my Indian registration to proceed with my process?

Is German residency training recognised worldwide? Is it easy for a foreign trained doctor to get surgery residency in Germany?

Hi Dr. Mishra, I would like to know about the steps for pursuing fellowship in Germany. I am currently doing residency in OBGYN and wish to do fellowship in Germany. Besides the compulsory language requirement, what are the other things that I need to prepare for? And after residency, will I be considered as a fachartz? Do I still need to take the aprobation exam? And do they have an aprobation exam for OBGYN specialist or it is a general exam for all the specialties? Looking for your guidance.

Hello Sir, I have a question for you about famulatur. Can i conduct famulatur in one speciality and take another speciality for post graduation? Suppose for famulatur in pediatric surgery and post graduation in visceral surgery. Does famulatur in pediatric surgery affect the admission process in visceral surgery? or a famulatur in non surgical branch and residency in surgical branch?

does famulatur is compulsory and helpful in getting residency ?
@barotgaurav7842
@barotgaurav7842 7 лет назад
Deepak Mishra famulatur is medical clerkship or traineeship of 30 days. it is divided into two parts examination part and problem based seminar learning. In the beginning, med students learn physical examination in the present of physician and practice it on each other afterwards on patient in supervision of physician and if method is wrong, supervisor will correct it. Problem oriented learning seminars are arranged at the end of every week and provisonal diagnosis is made with the help of proper history taking, physical examination .

Hello Sir, thank you for your time and your videos, your videos are being very helpful!!! You have said specializations like Surgery, Dermatology etc. are very hard to get in Germany for foreign doctors, can you say which specializations are available for foreign doctors? And if I need a specialization in Surgery, how long(years) should I wait to get it?
