Working in consulting for one of the Big 4 I’d say I mainly do a lot of implementation work and project management! Not so much on strategy but it’s kind of fulfilling walking side-by-side with the client and being there for every project milestone 😆
Hi Kristina! I would add another one: consultants work in consulting firms. I work as as an internal scintific consultant for a food company. My company has plenty of us (internal consultants) with differents backgrounds and areas of responsability.
Great Video Kchoi! I have worked in consulting since 2020. It is a great career for veterans after military service. Some firms like Accenture have hiring programs for vets in their Federal Services divisions. I work in this space as well (but not for Accenture, another firm) and I have really enjoyed the projects I have been on.
I’m interested in getting into consulting and I’ve been looking at the difference between coaching and consulting as it pertains to business marketing. I would love your help in figuring out who to break into a consulting role. Thanks!
Look up "Steve Jobs on consulting". The person with skin in the game and first hand experience are the ones you want to make important decisions. Consultants are hired by upper management so that upper management can in turn get hired at a consulting company
Myth #6 (actually a variation of #3) - A consultant is someone who borrows your watch to tell you what time it is. 🤣 BTW, the Abu Dhabi vlog was incredible! Thank you for taking us along.
