Oh my goodness! I’ve been pre-rinsing all of my dishes, it’s the way I was raised. Mama always said to rinse your dish then put it in the dishwasher! Wait till I tell her this-She’s going to have a fit!!
lol yea That's only a rule for commercial dishwashers and really old ones but if it's not really really baked on stains that need some soaking, usually no need for a pre rinse as almost all brand new and most older models have a built in pre rinse cycle before the main cycle starts on most standard programms. But if you have a dishwasher that has a removable filter and/ or no food disposal, make sure to clean it regularly at least once a month.
I never rinse my dishes. Never have, never will. Just scrape off the large food chunks. Dishwashers always do at least one rinse before they run a cycle with the soap dispenser open so what is the point of pre-rinsing? The dishwasher literally does it.
@@npne1253how so? Literally every dishwasher I’ve ever owned over the last 15 years has rinsed everything and drained and filled at least twice before I can hear the “slam” of the soap compartment opening up. Commercial dishwashers do not rinse before they wash.
This makes them all sound like they clean good. Cascade All in One is sold at Costco and is just so so on cleaning. Because of sale, I just bought Cascade platinum w/ OXI and Dawn. Will see how it works. My favorite is Finish Quantum Max. Perfect.
BUT... those pod style will clog your drain, just like any grease you put down there too... package melts but later cools and builds a film further down your drain lines. smh thats what my. plumber told me
