Splendid performance. The music, lighting and most of all the superb ball handling are simply baffling. Love it!

I can't say I like the music of the setting, but, dang, I'm impressed! He was pulling tricks that I have yet to see anywhere else! I really enjoyed that!

@lilbsongwriter Hi, thanks for stopping by ! Here's a shortcut : fushigi = 1) Attempt to rebrand what is known as an art since many years : Contact Juggling. 2) Poor quality, will break if dropped on hard surface 3) But as an infomercial, thousand of people have hearded about CJ, which is cool. Hint : if you want to learn this amazing art (CJ), go to contact juggling dot org for an awesome and friendly community ! Have fun ^^

I have always been fascinated by hand manipulation of crystal globes. Think this is a brilliant clip.

@lilbsongwriter You're welcome ^^ Yes you could begin with a regular stage ball (try to find a 100 mm), but for me nothing is as gorgeous and magical than a clear crystal ball (acrylic) !! That's why I started it all ; I'm not sure a plastic juggling ball would have had the same effect on me lol !!

@agentdo Not only can it be done with any contact juggling ball but it can be done with almost any sphere.Much thanks for including this warning.

@bipolardox Hi, thank you for your testimony...It's true that Fushigi ball is weak by nature : how would it not be, with just such a thin acrylic shell ? May I give you an advice ? Never practice over concrete ! lol ^^ Only when you've gain some mastery other your routine you may want to go outside, where you may prefer grass other solid floor. But be reassured, a true acrylic sphere will never explod... Anyway, thank you for your comment ! Good luck ^^

@snaps250 For one ball rouitne, 100 mm...For multiball, I use 80 mm spheres and sometimes 82 mm. Thanks for your interest !

@agentdo I agree with you 100% but it was not until I seen the Fushigi that I discovered this art. I have been at it for three days now. And I am loving every minute of it. Although when I drop the "Fushigi" I am not the happiest camper. (That's why it's always good to start with a soft surface. I prefer soil and grass. I love my sphere). I do understand your feelings about the Fushigi - but it is a cheap and affordable learning tool if you want to master this art.

I LIKE THE MUSIC Mr. Fixer. I agree on the disclaimer though agentdo. I had no idea what a Fushigi ball was untill my son said something about this ball that had no gravity and 'space oxygen' (lol) in it... I thought oh cool a birthday gift.. until I saw the commercial. I was ticked because I thought they had some sweet gravity defying toy out and my son was upset to find out he actually had to learn how to use this 'toy'. I showed him all the videos I could find for the contact juggling skill.

Thanks MadMike ^^ ! The is from RU-vid audioswap : when you're into your vhannel, clic "my videos", and under each one you'll find an "audioswap" function...A lot of music to choose from...Good luck with your contact juggling !!

@Guruguruchuchu Hi, if you mean the one where the ball is isolated on the palm of the hand, all you have to do is make the ball go on circle on your hand : try to go VERY slowly, for your muscles and fingers to know the position of the ball at any place on the hand. Try to do the circle really slow, I mean you can take one to two minutes to complete it. Then, and only then, will you try to isolate it.

@Guruguruchuchu You're welcome. I have one of these Wizard ball, you can begin to learn the circle with it. But soon you'll want to save money to buy a real acrylic ball, just because of its optical quality and illusion ^^ Depending of the size of your hands, 100 mm may be a little heavy ; if this is the case, try to find a 90 mm which works well too.

Thank you for the warning that you put up on your video info! My daughter came running to me and told me that contact juggling was on TV so I had to go check it out and there was that Fushigi crud. I was so disgusted by that. By the way I love your video you've got some great skills.
@LawrensGodon
@LawrensGodon 13 лет назад
@Guruguruchuchu Then, when you can make smooth, large and regular continuous circles, you will move the HAND in the same direction than the ball. You will eventually find that the ball tends to stabilize and stay still. Now you will have to smooth out the *bumps" and *twiches" to get a really smooth palm circle isolation. Oh, and try both hands, both directions ! Good luck, Lawrens Godon
@LawrensGodon
@LawrensGodon 14 лет назад
@bestBudinHoustone No this is not ; fushigi is just a contact juggling brand ball, has nothing special inside, it will not levitate on its own... Please read the disclaimer on this video info...
@LawrensGodon
@LawrensGodon 13 лет назад
@kragier Hi, thank you for your kind words ! I respect the people who come visit my videos and I'm willing to help them as much as I do. But CJ is also in a unique situation, where an industrial marketed it as fushigi, at the same time contributing to span CJ around, toward people who would have never hear about it ! I want to desactivate the hype because 1) fushigi is a weak product, with really poor quality standard, and 2) people can find a lot of free tutorials and sites on the internet...
@leealex311

It's not about the kind of techniques he's doing. It's about the level at which he is performing them. I'm sure there are plenty of people who learned how to do all of these techniques after a couple of months of casual practice but they're full of shit of they say they could do it with this level of precision and artistry. I have greater respect for someone who has absolutely mastered something relatively simple than someone who can sort of do a sloppy version of something more advanced.

@agentdo Thanks for the tips. I've just started recently and I didn't have any balls I could afford. I found a ball at a local store called a Wizard Ball. It's a light up bounce ball toy that weighs about 1.3 pounds. It's filled with glitter, water, and a light device. Do you think the ball would work or is it too heavy. It is exactly 100 mm.
