I love this illusion/art form. The only thing I'd suggest is never holding the 8-ring by the outside - only from the center. Holding from the outside makes it obvious that the rings are linked into a figure 8. It would be more impressive to allow people to assume it's two separate rings being held together by your hands.

Yeah, nodding the head is distracting. It's his way of indicating that particular trick is over, like taking a bow, but it takes away from the performance.

+Marlar House, it would even more impressive if they were all separate and didn't have the hole in the ring edge. Maybe he is working towards that.

TheZuMoClan It's still impressive. Can you manipulate 8 rings like that? I have a baton that is intended to be manipulated similarly to what you see here. It's difficult to do that type of manipulation. So if you ask me this guy's performance is pretty darn impressive.

purplemutantas Sure he does it very well, just the fact that it looks so much more intriguing and like "wow, how does he do that" before you figure out how to do it yourself.

+TheZuMoClan Did you know you can learn juggling in just a day? That's not the important part. The important part is when someone has the mind and vision to make a show out of it. Brushing off stuff like this seems to me like it has more to do with insecurity and a sense of inferiority than anything else.

MrWilf89 Why do you see it as cheating? Anyway I got an interesting idea for these rings... instead of them being attached, there could be a hold for your fingers to go in .... You could do the flashy, synchronized stuff while also taking them apart and actually juggling them! Double the fun :D

this is awesome & no one can do it. until they have practise it a lot!! my son does this stuff. I can't be gracefull if my life depended on it. I like men to look graceful w/out feminine. the girls look great being graceful & powerful. so guys keep it real!! thanks 2 all

No. I mean what I said. Contact juggling involves bodily contact (rolls and such) with the prop. There's no contact in this. What he's doing is manipulation.

Did it crack anybody else up that he kept on doing that little nod throughout the show like "and there it was, my eightrings trick" and then at the end he does a big reveal as if we should all be like "Oh SHIT!!! It was that guy I've never heard of or seen before all along!!!"

really nice performance! the only thing i may criticize: when you do a trick only with one hand, you are a bit offstage with the other hand holding the rings. they are still in sight for the audience, if you isolate them for instance, they are much more present onstage. Also as texted before, if you hold the rings in the center the illusion that there are 4 seperate rings is much more effective. keep it up !
