No matter how old the game is, this kind of scene must never be spoiled. After all, this is the turning point which decides whether our choices will continue the game or not. I've spoiled myself of this game's main antagonist, but that ain't the biggest spoiler, that's like the most well-known spoiler in the internet. The mere existence of Nanako's chapter is a spoiler, and explaining it is a bigger spoiler territory. ^^

No worries i alredy finished this game many times, from ps2 version to psvita version (the golden one.)

Just because something is old shouldn't mean it's okay for it to be spoiled (unless maybe the other party just doesn't care or the story sucks or something like that) since most everyone haven't actually gone through these things. These girls playing these games for the first times are prime examples. Hell, when you type out "persona 4 nanako" on RU-vid, the first results that appear are giant spoilers.

@@lubuleda you weren't around when she had to take a break for several months? When she came back she had a huge concert and I remember how I cried like a little girl, it was 5 am and I woke up specifically for her concert on a Monday lol.

Miko had a lot of anxiety at the hospital. She thought that her career as a vtuber was over, especially with hololive. Her comeback concert was the stuff of legends though. That blew not only mikos fears away but everyone’s fears too.

More heart breaking than anything in Persona 5. Love Persona 5, but this scene was on another freaking level.

I remember awhile back reading some people's analysis of the plot and a couple of them agreed Nanako should have PERMANENTLY died no matter the path you chose, in order to have given the plot alot more seriousness and felt the story was "ruined" when in choosing to pursue the real truth, she got to survive and that it became too "Fairy Tale"...all I gotta say is all those people that thought that, I feel are all sick in the head if they needed a 6 year old girl to DIE in order to convey more seriousness to the plot...

that's bad ending 1, in bad ending 2 Nanako is back to live but Teddy's gone missing forever (Miko got this ending)

​@@johnnyMcSheep There are a total of 6 endings please don't read below the spoiler line if you haven't already played P4 and want to enjoy Miko's stream ========spoiler======== ending 1: nanako died, timeskip to march, MC is going back to the city (bad end 1) ending 2: nanako died, revived by teddie, timeskip to march, MC is going back to the city (bad end 2) ending 3: MC choose to side with the actual killer, timeskip to march, MC is going back to the city and get a text message from the actual killer (bad end 3) ending 4: MC identifies the actual killer and stop them (good end 1) ending 5: MC identifies the actual killer, and identifies the mastermind (good end 2) ending 6: MC identifies the actual killer, identifies the mastermind, and maxed Marie's social link (good end 3) You get an "extra month" on ending 6, but as far as I know atlus doesn't give permissions to stream that "extra month", just like the third semester on P5R

She got the 2nd bad ending, where nanako alive but the 2 first murder remain a mystery and the true culprit still free while the protagonist went back to his parents home. Then miko load back to get the right choice

Persona games have always been like this. Starting from p4 the story gets more light hearted. The first few persona games were super depressing.

Yep, this is what happen with both Persona games after P3. For P4, the culprit just go in prison and in the spin-off the culprit kinda got a relieving ending for himself. And for P5, while that one person still ended up died, he still got a heroic death instead of a dog death.

Not a medical professional but to answer your question, yes. But there's a buffer period where the risk is minimal. Iirc it less than 30 minutes

I also remember... in the anime... Yu Narukami could not keep his poker face at all when Nanako died.... in fact... he completely broke down in tears...

After what had happened before when She was hospitalized, this scene hits hard.

I mean at the time, she's really dead. If she was in coma, or critical condition but atill alive, I still believe the game would cure her somehow. But she's really got flatlined and she wasn't back to live instantly. Make matter worse, we have those moments with Namatame which kinda makes me thingking she is really is dead past that point. I was thinking maybe I can changed her fate somehow or we need to choose some option to keep her alive lol

Not gonna lie, the first thing i did in my first playthrough was i turned off the playstation and legit didn't play it again for a whole week. Until i found out that it was supposed to happen that way

yeah, because it's possible for a character that can be saved to die for real when we missed something in persona 3 (looking at you chidori) so i was panicking when i first play p4 and saw this scene, lol

@@Saihamaru remind me again does Chidori case a portable one or vanilla one? Cause I don't think you can save her originally and they make it so Chidori can be saved cause fans really loves Junpei and Chidori relationship.

How do you get the Rise achievement? 3 to 4 playthrough and i still haven't gotten that

Almost feels like divine punishment to have your Vita break and then uncover the requirement for the missing trophy, which is kinda funny that you missed that particular trophy considering that pretty much every person I’ve come across up till now has gotten that trophy on their own. It’s like one of those “how did you miss it?” type of scenarios.

As someone who wasn't spoiled by this its still a shitty practice to implement. Change the title to anything else and everyone's happy. Really not that complicated.

I've been spoiled by other things, and it's even easier to happen now since youtube just shoves it to you without warning. So it's kinda up to the community to not spoil the fun for those who haven't played yet. After all, why would we push away potential new fans by giving them spoilers?
