Your videos are so idk entertaining and vibrant and funny and informing that I subscribed no hesitation. I see your plants and they look so amazing that I want to follow your methods for next season. Could you please make your printables available to your subscribers and maybe we can change the dates based on our growing zone. They just look like they will keep this simple and organized for me. It's exactly what I need. Thanks again for the channel and the entertaining gardening videos. Have a blessed one
I have been gardening for a bunch of years but you have still managed to teach me a bunch of helpful tips. You are brilliant and fun. Give Squeak a hug for me and please buy another heat pad just for her. My black cat lived over 20 years and she loved her heat pad.
thanks :) i did forget to show the radish seed being germinated. it'll be in the next video. i was trying to show everything being started in this one video tho, oops :) next year i'll probably do a much shorter abbreviated garden start video. thanks for watching!
I found your channel in spring 2015. As I am a 9'x9' patio container gardener in 6b, I fell in love with your gardening style. My Sam's club bus bins I copied from you are also coming apart. Sides are being held together with duct tape! I use 2 of those for my lettuce, spinach, radish and 3" carrots. I use 3 of the 58 qt gray colored Sterilite bins to string trellis my tomatos (gray to block light avoid algae) and 5 gal pots for my 3 peppers and yellow bush beans. I am trying potatoes in pots this year. Have you ever grown potatoes? They don't fit in sandwich ziplocs! Just kiddin. But the plant leaves are a foot tall now! You showed me how to germinate seeds using paper towels, great to know seeds are viable and helps to get a jump on the season. I also bought 3 grow lights and I have 2 cats. I just want to say that I watch a lot of gardening channels and IMO, you have the best, most comprehensive gardening channel on RU-vid, especially for beginning gardeners. Time lapse is awesome but wish we could see a vid every week. Thank you so much! You are forgiven for the radishes.
I've watched your planting videos for like 3 years now and it's really so nice. Always using the same stuff, it's obvious you have your routine down pat. Very regimented and simple. I'm always so inspired!
WOW You are so organized and loaded with great tips, knowledge and skills to growing a nice garden! You work very hard but your enjoyment of gardening shines through. Love your videos and thank you for sharing....
I am SO grateful for these videos. I just discovered this channel about a month ago and I have been binge-watching as much as possible so I can grow my own vegetables and save some money while I'm at Uni this year. Absolute blessing, THANK YOU
Supruga i ja obožavamo vaše mace, naročito crnog macana.
Mate! This is the third planting season I’ve seen you re-start your vege patch! I love your method and technique, you know what works for you and you stick with it. Your garden has been a huge inspiration to me and my own garden here in Australia! I just need a better indoor seed starting method! Ha cant wait for the harvest videos! Thanks for your videos mate!
So much attention to detail. Thank you for taking the time to show us your process step by step!! Love that Squeek was sleeping on your germinating seeds. Trust her to find some place warm to sleep 😉.
Love your videos! Straight to the point and not all the unnecessary fluff like a lot of others. Plus your methods are so utilitarian and equally to the point! Thank you!
May God bless you for all the details you provide and for not leaving anything to guess work and error. I ask of him to be your guiding light. I hope you look at the sky above you, smile at God and talk to him with your heart, mind and words always, he can see and hear you even if him you can't and he can see your heart and mind as so does he all his creation
This is GREAT! I always recommend heirloom/non GMO seeds.......can be pricy....but HEY......this is SO encouraging for anyone who doesn't know doodily squat but wants to start being more self sufficient 💕👯🐣😎 Really GREAT info & example for all! I'v been growing my own all my life, but got some very good tips from this vid! THANK YOU, 🌻Pura Vida 🌻 from Costa Rica 😎
Beautiful vegetable garden. I hope i can half as nice. I live in Hot Arizona. Challenge. Did i miss where to download your planning vegetable to write when I should plant? Thank you for sharing your knowledge.v
I was waiting to watch your video. I’ve seen most of your videos and can’t wait to see this year videos and what you will grow in your garden this year. Also you inspire me to grow my own vegs. It’s so much fun. Thank you! 🌱
Always good to see your cat running around! Also hello to Orange Cat, haven't seen him in any of your videos before, I guess he is new in the neighbourhood? By the way great tutorial, as always!
Awesome information. Saving this video for ideas for next years planning. I always plant seed directly into the soil but your approach gives you a head start before the 90 degree weather starts
that is a fantastic idea.... who would have thought to sprout seeds that way ... thats right you did, i think its very detailed. thank you so much for sharing. once i start gathering up all the stuff needed i am going to do this..... thank you very much... from Australia
Yea it is the Best Way!!🎉👍🏻🎉 i cant wait till your videos come out They are so good!! But this one wins a 🏆 it’s the best from start to finish. My seedlings and gardening this year I mimicked everything down to the bus boxes I think it’s going to be a better year so I followed the bubble beet way. Love Love Love
Migardener the great RU-vid channel sells seeds organic 99 cents. I like to support people who help inform others how to garden. Just got 50 different seeds and The germination rate is great!
You have the best videos for dummies like myself, I'm interested in gardening and your videos are so educational and gives me hope. I've seen some heirloom seeds on a website, with your videos and I'm gathering my supplies I should be ready to start mine soon. Thank you biggly 👍
This is one of the best gardening tutorials I’ve seen on youtube. I like how detailed and very direct you are. A lot of the higher ranked videos have chatty ADHD people that miss important details or steps. Subscribed!
I was just thinking about you today and wondered when you were gonna make videos again for 2019. So glad I found this video. You're one of the best teachers I found online and your garden is always so beautiful!!!
What a well thought out video. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into this. As a new gardener, it was really beneficial to see the whole process over time. THANK YOU
Hi BubbleBeet! I really enjoy your videos, and I truly believe you grow some of the best vegetable plants out there. You seem very methodical and I like how you show everything you do. Clearly you have a very keen eye for detail, which reminds me of myself. Your sound effects crack me up because they're kinda cheesy but in a good way, they make your videos fun. 😂 Keep up the great work with your gardening! 😀👊🍅
We have similar gardening styles. Get yourself a 2 gallon sprayer bottle. It’s more gentle than poring water in the nursery pots. Also, I use heavy duty totes from Home Depot. The 26 gallon heavy duty totes with the yellow lids. It’s about $12 each and much bigger. I always paint my totes or pots with a “roll on” bed liner for trucks, I only paint the parts exposed to the sun. It protects them from becoming brittle from the sun and makes them more durable since the Bedliner adds stiffness. Since the totes are deeper, you can turn it into a self wicking bed or just drill a single hole 4 inches high on the side to create a water reservoir to avoid watering daily. Another thing I learned is that putting down a lot of fertilizer (organic or commercial) at the bottom 2 inches really helps the plants grow rapidly since by the time the roots get to the bottom, they are usually a good size and well established. By the 3rd week, they really start taking off. I prefer to use peat moss over worm castings. The little worm castings my worm far produces, I find goes much further by making a worm casting slurry. 1 gallon of worm casting into a 20 gallon tote, mix well, let sit over night. I use my sprayer, after screening out the castings, to spray all my plants so they all get the nutrients, beneficial bacteria and growth hormones. Just my 2cents, your doing a great job as is. We all learn what works best for our situations.
Love your video and very informative. You are very organized and liked how you use the grey containers. I learnt about how to use the heating pad for seedlings. Thank you so much, much appreciated 🤩🤩
Love your videos! My second year planting a garden and so far based on following your method my plants are off to a good start! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
Bro... This year I finally tried your germanation technique with the zip lock bags.... I'll never go back... I went to dollar tree and found some round pots... 4 for a dollar... I bought 12 dollars worth.... So I've got little pots all over the porch... Wife says my gardens not big enough for everything I planted.. Lol
Thank you once again for the thorough information. I hope to find compost somewhere in our area so that my husband and I can get started . I especially like the lay out of the raised beds. Everything you show us is so organized and that's going to make it so pleasant. Your garden and container system is lovely too .
I really like your whole set up! I imagine you have been doing this same thing for long time since everything is just as you like it. Thanks for all the tips! I live in NJ and don't get the early spring like you get in NC but I started my seeds today in bags. See how it goes! Thanks for your great suggestions and experience!
You are amazing your tips are very helpful i watch your videos over 3 years ago and I'm very impressed you are good organized and every year I learn more and more from you thank you for sharing your video with us. Greeting from Germany 🇩🇪
Yay.. I've been patiently waiting on your videos. I share them, with my granddaughter, who hasn't garden space. Thank you, for sharing, all your wonderful videos..
You can make a shower nosel on that fish liquid container, by using the lid, and making 5 holes with (I use an ice pick), works great much finer stream of water, as how you do it (wich there is nothing wrong with that) it just give me the shivers to see that on the tiny seedlings. Love your cat he/she is hilarious, precious too.
Yes! Love your dedication and your thorough instructions. The cat is so awesome! I LOVE THAT CAT! ..She/he makes me laugh every time I watch your videos .
Love your channel! Perhaps the best gardening videos ever! The paper towel seed sprouting method is the same as my grandma always used, and she had an amazing veggie, fruit and flower cutting oasis. Can’t wait to apply your removable trellis method. Questions: 1.) regarding the patio “bus containers” on the patio: do you find your wood patio gets stained from not having another box or saucer underneath? 2.) do you do all hand watering? I haven’t seen any irrigation or drip system. Inspiring, direct, and filled with wisdom -. (Green) THUMBS UP! A friend in California
Wow...loved this video. So detailed . Thanks for sharing your time and knowledge. You said it may not be the right way to do it but it's your way,. Apparently its correct- I mean look at all the produce you get!!
I always look forward to your videos! I just learned a lot of new tips from watching this video. And I LOVE SQUEAK soooo much!!! Thank you for posting and sharing your knowledge with us. And that ginger cat is adorable!
