Starting around the beginning of December, I started to find these foam rubber baby mats that I call the flying carpets of the pacific. The reason for that is birds had pecked hundreds of holes in each one of them. They must have rode on them like a flying carpet. Then in the beginning of January I found only on one day these bike helmets. I sent pictures to a person who posts these things on beach combing and, he said other helmets were being found down our Pacific Coastline. Then he gets back to me saying they are being tracked based on where they are being found. Now the manufacturer is reaching out to have some returned for study. I find that pretty cool and will do so soon. As for the rest of the finds just normal lost floats from the Pacific Ocean.
