As Fr. Gregory is describing Dom Eugene Boylan in the half minute from 24:45 to 25:17, I’m struck with, ‘that’s Jesus’! So good! I’m reading the book, “This Tremendous Lover,” ever so slowly and loving it, 80 pages to go. So appreciate this discussion, Priests of God, and thank you for your, ‘Yes’!

This is a great episode because it was theologically relevant. We need a hundred more episodes like this one, and zero like the last episode about Buddy the Elf (secular, misleading, and irrelevant).

As a fellow listener, i want to caution you about using “we”, if you are talking about the Godsplaining audience as a whole. I love the way this podcast can draw out beautiful God-loving lessons from “secular” novels and movies as well as the intentionally religious works. I suspect that you have more formal training in theology, but there are many of us who are learning as we go. Plus Elf was a great movie and it is fun to see their interests blend into their good work.

I never appreciated Elf before last podcast, but loved to connect it to the theme of looking for father, joy in midst of sorrow in several conversations I had with family/friends in December🌻💙
