As your brothers and sisters in Christ we definitely care “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭26). I found myself being discontent with parenting. My 16 year old who’s is a great kid is going through some teenage things and was in a slump with school. She is graduating early, and I was excited because I’m tired of raising another person. I love parenting and will give my life for my child, but parental fatigue kicked in on me, while grieving ( single parent lost my sister and mom within the past 3 years). Just this morning I was asking for increased grace and patience, God reminded me he assigned me to her because he equipped me to instill in her all he has for the plans assigned to her life. I was selected to be a part of this amazing purpose and this amazing human being. Be content where you are and yes it may take more time but I need you to focus on your assignment and I will give you rest for She is going to do marvelous things. Chill…

God is helping me with contentment in having a broken AC in my apartment and being able to rest in the fact that God has it all figured out!! Over the past few days, i’ve been incredibly distressed and frustrated, sending out angry emails to the landlord and management about the lack of AC in the summer heat. But today, the Lord spoke to me through His word and through this podcast, to be content, because the Lord is taking care of this situation, and I can’t wait to see what the Lord will do! Even with something as silly as an AC going out, the Lord showed me His grace today in what He spoke to me. The Lord is so good. Deleting angry emails and sending kinder ones. Resting in the cool and heat, knowing that if Jesus could sleep through a storm, then so can I!

after the amen: wow. perfect timing. as hard as it is to admit…i have an addiction to social media. im 15 years old and i have always loved creating “content”. over the past few weeks, i’ve been hearing God’s voice, telling me to delete social media and i had to - it was difficult but i couldn’t ignore His voice. i have grown my relationship with God now more than ever. i only have youtube (to watch sermons like these) but something in me always told me that in a few weeks, i would download the other apps again. this is showing me that God doesn’t want me to go back to social media, because i would be running away from Him. thank you ❤

Jesus is helping me to be content by constantly reminding me that he is the living water which as I drink from I never thirst. Each time I feel my body longing for sin he puts it on my heart that I must eagerly turn toward him and those desires with fade away. Instead they are replaced with the good news of the gospel and an complete satisfaction in the Lord.

Jesus is helping me be content in my finances, I used to fluctuate my mood or joy with how much money I had , I was in a accident and had to pay a large amount I’m not used to and it threw everything off , but through this I have learn how to not let anything still my joy because it is my strength, lack is not my portion and if I manage the little he will make me ruler of many , I trust him with a new assurance I didn’t have before, not in my own strength but truly trusting him , I am content.

In my life Jesus is helping me with contentment and being OK and content with myself even if I don’t get accolades win basketball games get followers get likes - and just being content with the way God made me living this life to glorify him even if I don’t get man approval. And some drastic measures that I can take to keep my eyes on Jesus are reading the Bible more, scrolling less on social media and seeing posts that I don’t need to look at, also praying more, and also watching more videos like this and also memorizing more scripture 📖

23:40 when Lokelani was talking about how she was trying to rush the healing process I felt that but I’m a different way. Lately i find myself trying to rush the healing process (emotional, mental and spiritual) and i feel like when that is over THEN i could be content. But i should be content IN the process as well!! The more I look for Jesus the more content I become. For every struggle we have something to be grateful for, although Loke is having these pains for now, she was able to give birth to 5 beautiful children that I'm sure you're so grateful for... Life is beautiful! That's part of the process of understanding and getting closer to Jesus :)

Thank you guys so much for this message! I often struggle with being content because of my school and work I get so caught up in all of the negative parts in them that it’s hard for me to be joyful. A drastic measure I want to take is to give up social media and use that time for Jesus. If you could just pray that I have the strength and ability to not rely on this world to make me happy but to rely on Jesus

Jesus is guiding me and he lets me see his wonderfull works. For example, today at chuch we have at the end of our church service prayer time, in which people with prayer needs can come to the front, so other people can pray for them. One Guy came to the front and was greeted by one of the oldest in church. They prayed, everybody prayed and after 5 minutes he took the microphone and said welcome our new brother into our family, he just accepted Jesus. Praise the Lord !!!

Jesus is helping me to be content in a lot of areas! 1. To be content being single and not dating 2. He is helping me to be at peace with what I have in my life 😌 3. And He is helping me to be content in whatever future plans He has for me...( college, work, relationships,etc.) Drastic measures I should rake: 1. Read His word more and keep off of worldly things around me....to seek His Kingsom first and righteousness 2. Count my blessings and praise God for them and what's to come continually! And even my Salvation 3. this was an amazing message!! thank you so much. Jesus is helping me with contentment because he taught me that being discontent is actually leading us to be cut off from God, which is the opposite of what i want to do. a drastic measure i would take is do the opposite of what the world feeds into. for example, lust and greediness are two of the main things u struggle with.

Wonderful message guys thank you for it! Where I can work to have more contentment is with parenting my 5 yr old. He is an awesome kid that I’m grateful for, but when he has times of poor listening and throwing tantrums it can really make me feel discontent. So I will work on that to appreciate Him for where’s He. brought me, and continue to learn to be a better flexible parent that’s able to adjust to all scenarios.

Praying for you to receive the PERFECT vehicle for you and your family! 🙏🏽🙏🏽 TESTIMONY TIME that I hope encourages everyone- There was a time when our roof started leaking and we prayed for a miracle because we couldn’t afford to fix it and our insurance wouldn’t help. A week or so later, there was a small hailstorm and our insurance said that new damage had occurred and that they would pay for a new $18k roof!

I find contentment in the word and in prayer. Today, the Lord reminded me of a prophetic word video that was saying that I am going to be a millionaire. The first time I heard it I was moved to tears because I was instantly thinking about money, prosperity and prestige and the fact that I could spoil my parents, siblings and other people financially in a God-favored way. After coming across the video again today, I prayed to God and asked him if this message was directed to me and if he could give me a sign if I should take it seriously. But when Lokelani read 1.Timothy 6, 6-7, I really understood that contentment in Christ is the real fortune God is enabling me to experience in my life. I ALREADY AM RICH IN CHRIST ❤ And I instantly smiled, looked to the sky and thanked God for this powerful, cheerful and joyful word. Thanks guys for doing Gods Will in other peoples lives and this podcast 🎉

To be more content, I just need to put more things away in my life and fill that with more time with Him, more time in prayer, more time doing things for the kingdom. If any of the brethren see this please pray for me. It’s hard, I’ve been in a season of just feeling like what I do doesn’t matter. It all just seems like a waste of time, my job, focusing on all these things that don’t matter in the long run yet I have to think on these things because working, money, future, all that stuff; is a part of living everyday life. This is a great episode… thank you! My husband and I have 4 kids and we would love more God willing. My mum is one of 11 kids but we get many comments recently that 4 is a lot. Have you guys ever done an episode on children, the blessing of children or how Jesus viewed and treated children. Many cultures (not all people) seem to view children in a burdensome way. So good. The Lord is so good and will do anything to help you and make you perfect completely in His sight. He knows you between than you do. Because He loves you more than you will ever know. He will do anything to make you perfect in His Holy and righteous and perfect sight that we love. The Lord loves you very very much and will do anything to help you and make you perfect. Even if it means putting you through troubles that are even very bad. Because He loves you. Be confident in the Lord that He will bring you through and that He will deliver you in all because He is in all. God is good. God is great. Trust in Him with your heart COMPLETELY and you will become exactly who God has designed you to be. You are loved, so so much, by the Heavenly Father God Almighty, more than you will ever know. You are loved. Don’t forget that. You are loved by God through everything that you do. Good and bad. God sees you and understands you through every single thing. Even more than you do. Follow God, because He knows what’s best for you, not you. Humble yourself to God, let God guide you, and He will take you exactly where you are supposed to be. Because He loves you. I’ve struggled with anxiety for the last 6 years of my life..I gave it to Christ and believed that he had healed me from it then things keep happening to cause me to have anxiety again:/ I don’t know how to fully give it to him and to fully allow him to heal me. I just want to be able to live for Christ but with anxiety like this I can’t so I don’t know what to do

Jesus is helping me with contentment by giving me peace when I pray and when I indulge more in His word.. and by reminding me of who He is and what He did for me. some drastic measures I will be taking is Praying more frequently even when im tired and full of hopelessness, and by trudging my focus to Him when I do want to turn to lust or entertainment putting Him first.
