A trick for removing and adding the center wheels is to leave the axles on and just roll them into the slot in the frame with a guy in the cab raising and lowering the header. That way its just one bolt and you don't have to lift a thing.
I’ve gotten to the point where I can set the header at the right height that I can lay on my back, pull the buddies onto my chest and press it in place to get the front pin on my own. I don’t recommend doing it but it can be done on your own
Yes I have and yes they are. Had I started filming in my first year (2019)… you might have seen some as I had a fd70 and dad had a fd75. I sold my fd70 in 2020 and bought the fd135, dad traded his fd75 off last year The biggest changes are -feeder drum chain tensioner design is far superior and doesn’t get loose after the first wad -much easier to adjust the flex and balance -way more fingers on reel bats -easier to service -ability to control Draper speed -they switch from 15w40 in the adapter to hydraulic -access panel for filter location -ability to shut off upper cross auger in short crops or cereals The Center reel chain drive tensioner is still poorly designed and the upper cross auger still has some problems. I just had mine break a couple of days ago and have an upgrade to install.
