Contra games are A. Awesome as hell especially playing with a buddy B. Short as hell lol However Contra is one of those great games that spawns tons of fan made games. I have about 5 of them on a gba cartridge and they are amazing. Contra rules.
I dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Ayden Isaiah I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Okay so 1 alien cell did ALL THAT in the end? Good fucking god, i think the main villian is wrong here. That thing needs to be destroyed, not contained
11:31 I always loved this sequence because it's clearly a nod to the Seven Force boss from Gunstar Heroes - which is an interesting little shout out because Gunstar Heroes was made as a love-letter to the original Contra series.
Not to mention that Treasure was comprised of former members of Konami. And don't forget about Alien Soldier. Contra Hard Corps kinda feels like a game that Treasure would make themselves because of all the original content shown here, especially the variety of bosses.
The one pain in the ass about 60 FPS, because games of this era had flickering weapons, 60 FPS recordings wouldn't capture the flickering. So you don't get to see weapons like the yo-yo, just hear the sound.
The problem you're describing is actually what happens when you record a 60fps game at 30fps. If you change the video quality on this video to 720p60 or 1080p60, you should be able to see that weapon.
It seems like Hard Corps has way more 80's cheesiness than the rest of the Contra games. Like the completely out-of-place dinosaur at 9:57. Also, where were all of 2P's shots? It was doing all the firing animations, but nothing was coming out of the gun.
There is a path which ends with your player dying a hero, but I still wouldn't exactly call that a wrong choice. The closest thing to a wrong choice this game has is when you choose to join the Colonel on a different path, which ends the game early and gives you a special bad ending.
@@trunksx2497 Dinosaurs for Hire on Genesis is another game that is a similar style to this, although it's definitely not the only one. I would need more information about it to know whether or not I played the game you're thinking of.
I wouldn't say it's out of the ordinary for a Genesis game. It's worth noting that there are still other paths, so there are more stages than seen in this video. The higher difficulty would also make it so you likely wouldn't be able to just get through even one path the first time you play it.
