I never played it, and before you ask, yes I seen the creepy dimension and henry eats but... the bosses are creepy... because of all that flesh and body parts edit: AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE 3TH 4TH AND 9TH BOSS!!! They Give me le Chills.

The game is impeccably made. Great care was obviously put into every single aspect of its design, and it's become my favorite run n gun aside from Metal Slug 3. If you haven't played it, you definitely should.

They sold their souls for that dirty pachinko cash. #FucKonami That really hurts, because they were my favorite developers, when I was growing up. 8-bit and 16-bit Contras and Castlevanias, TMNT beat 'em ups, freaking Gradius's and Jackal. Then there was the era of classic Silent Hills (1-3) and Metal Gear Solids (1-3). God, how could they fuck up so many amazing franchises and lose all the talanted people that once were working there?

Yeah, they make a lot of disturbing bosses mentioned in countdowns look tame by comparison

If you play the game and look closely at the background during the opening level, you can see the final boss in the background dropping some sort of spores as it flies by. It's definitely some sort of nasty chemical at the very least.

Sound effects are ripped and the main character sprite is drawn over the original. So technically it's a rip-off, but it's executed amazingly well.
