If you will wear a Duty suit you don't need to fight Mercenaries, there is a button for attaching/tearing patch (I think "z" by default). Wearing Duty suit without patch you aren't disguised and everyone see you as UNISG
I love how you are using your pistol as an automatic rifle, your automatic rifle as a pistol (with how frequent it jams), and your revolver as a marksman rifle xD
One cool thing I'd like to see is seasons in Gamma. We already have the green, flush foilage and mods to make it more fall colored. Also seen winter/snow mods as well. Would just be cool seeing the zone go from fully green, to orange/red dropping leaves and eventually covered in snow. Especially with the silence you get from snow, plus the sound of footsteps in it would be really neat IMO. Edit: Always a good idea to take stock before you go out on missions. I use favorites so I can just glance and see what I might need, since everything stays in the same spot generally. You also don't have to engage everyone, especially if you're low on supplies.
Just a tip, weapon parts under 60% aren't exactly unrepairable. You can buy a special toolkit from technicians which can restore any gun part which is even at 0% condition back up to 100%. The only issue is that the toolkit costs like 36k.
Great episode! Try repairing a 5.56 rifle since you easily be able to buy ammo from Dushman and with a disguise, from freedom in Army Warehouses. Each faction is either Warsaw or NATO: Clear Sky, Mercs, Freedom, UNISG, all being NATO and Loners, Duty, Bandit, Sin, Monolith, Military, Ecologists being Warsaw. Warsaw sells 5.45 9x18 7.62x39/54 etc. NATO selling 5.56 9x19 7.62x51 etc. Fun fact, at higher trader levels with CS (clear sky) they'll sell you gauss rifle ammo.
my man when you see some mil-spec textiles in leather jakcet and etc suits that you won't use - dissasemble them because they're useful to create better backpacks since you can't buy them from traders
That run back at pitch black after barely making it through a fight with two squads of duty members and the mutants had me at the edge of my seat sweating. Awesome video as always.
Just started a UNSIG run too. I got super lucky early on and got an advanced weapons kit. Vids are great man. Keep up the good work. One tip, mercs use nato weapons and ammo so it will be hard to get 7.62x39 and 5.45x39. You will have to craft that stuff.
Few things. For some reason, weapon attachments like suppressors, optics, launchers and the like actually sell for the most to "Bartender" type merchants which in your case here would be Aslan. Also please repair that AEK's condition so it doesn't wear down those wonderful parts you put in it super quickly 🙏
technicly any gun part as long as it's at least 1% is good to grab if you have the inventory space as you can sell them. it's what i do, i keep everything over 60 and sell the rest. not making a fortune but they dont weight lot and i make a few thousand here and there and it help a lot early when money is so tight. it made a difference between kife and death a few time as i could repair my thing with that money or buy more ammo
I make thousands doing this. I kept track of what I sold on a single run from cordon to rostok and back and made around 5k. Very worth it to do and good advice. I don't see many suggesting this or doing this.
You can get 5,45HP at Butcher's in the Garbage for a good price. All you have left is finding ammo kit to reassemble them into the FMJ and you're golden. AEK is one of the best guns in the game, so lucky that you got it so early.
If you can get your hands on them, always bring energy drinks. Unlees they changed it, taking yadulin followed by an energy drink negates the majority of the dizziness right away. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, I'm smth like 99% sure the artefact doesn't stack crit damage. It gives you 10% crit, but each shot you land stacks 5% normal damage. Still adds up, but isn't going to annihilate your psi hp especially if you have psi regen meds
Trading in PDAs is pretty good, from my time in Anomaly I have been paid straight up between 850-5000 in cash, or been given a handful of Stash locations... maybe even once or twice been given an item or two... i dont remember on that exactly
@@Qloud7 Btw....I don't think Merc sell Warsaw ammo since they are Nato faction. Your only bet to get ammo for your AEK is to kill and loot some warsaw faction or find the ammo kit and craft it. You should find some good NATO weapon soon.
That guy guarding the door of dead city merc base seems to be bugged. In my Merc playthrough, I built up my goodwill to Major and that one merc still does that, though others won’t, it’s odd. Also since mercenaries are a NATO faction, it will be hard to acquire Russian ammo like 5.45 until you have gunsmithing tools sadly
You can tear the patch off of a suit by pressing "Z" by default so you will not be disguised.(just be careful, there is a bug and sometimes if you don't have a patch in your inventory you can't put the patch back)
the spike artifact gives a flat +10% dmg for headshots, every shot u hit u get a 5% dmg boost(unlimited boost can go into thousands if ur a god), but if u miss u get psy dmg, meanin if u get 20 stacks and miss then ur instantly dead bcs 20 stacks is 100% dmg boost- 100%psy dmg, BUT u can remove the artifact from ur belt slot and remove all the stacks uve gotten without a penalty.
Something that you can do, at least early on, pick up enemy armor and take the patch off. You usually can get double the number of patches that way early on, especially if you can trade them at the Merc camp
You don't get extra patches when taking them off of suits of stalkers even though you'd think that's how that works: The only patches you get are the ones that are in the stalker's inventory after you kill them. The option to tear off the patch is just " Do you want your suit to act as a disguise or not?''
24:20 you got caught at night in a new moon, thats why its so dark. even nvg's aren't very good in these conditions (as they should be since nvg's mostly rely on the moonlight to see), and its a good idea to keep track of the lunar cycle in the game to avoid new moons. half moons and especially full moons are pretty bright though. now are they realistic? have you ever been outside the city at night under a new moon? it can get pretty dark. especially if its a new moon during fog since it makes it hard to see further than 5 feet ahead of you without a flashlight.
It will kick your butt, the most dangerous mutants like Chimeras/Controllers/Pseudogiants can spawn in packs further up in the zone, and Stalkers can spot you from like 900 meters away now & start shooting.
You can wear armor of other factions while not "disguised" as that faction. Say if you wear duty armor, you wont be identified as a duty member, unless you sew on a duty patch onto it
You can edit and change the fog in the mod loader! I made it so there is very little fog even when the weather is heavy! I done it mainly because I found it unfair that AI will see you a mile away threw thick fog and you couldn't see them in the slightest so taking fog away makes it more balanced in my opinion
You gotta remember that buying ammo is different per each faction. Mercs and UNSIG and other NATO factions sell NATO ammo such as 5.56 while Russian factions like duty and whatnot sell 5.45 and 7.62
FRRRRRR, im even in a decent exo and im getting shredded by them, boars feel insanely powerful especially how they can turn so quickly, feels on the level of a chimera just less health
Hey Qloud, I just recently updated to 0.9.1 and I'm wondering how to turned on the little % that shows armor and weapon durability. I don't seem to have it in by default and it seems to be an awesome quality of life add on. Thanks in advance ! And keep up the killer work on the videos
you dont "need to" have the repair kits, but it is preferrable. Moving parts without the corresponding kit damages the weapon's durability. Moving parts WITH a kit restores the durability of the gun based on the overall average condition of the parts in short use a kit unless you are really desperate or have already cleaned the gun to a better condition
@@marcellhegyi1363 cool thanks for the heads up. I tried it but but didnt realize it was more damaged after until a few minutes later I thought it was from an anomaly i ran through
you know you can interrogate (talk to bleeding enemy dropped on the ground while aiming at them) instead of using ammo on some of those stalkers (only played EFP idk if it's different in Gamma)
Really? That’s sick I might have to try that. I just have a little ptsd from one time when a downed stalker pulled the pin on a grenade when I got close to him😂
That's what Monoliths + Sinners will always do if you try to get close to them while they are down, not so sure about other factions. Oh something I noticed while playing GAMMA this new update, is that music from the game Darkwood plays in the background, Darkwood is like a isometric Stalker & Project Zomboid type of game. Another thing to say, Butcher, Barman, Sid, the Flea Market trader you didn't talk or notice & a few other trader-type npcs + that one guy in Darkscape are always neutral regardless of faction.@@Qloud7
UNISEG is really is easy if you know the game. I just went to cordon and killed some loners and get loner jacket. Fixed it and easily made money. I come to dead city with a 80 thousand rubles
Hey brother what is the mod you have for the fetch tasks that tell you if you have any in inventory or nearby stash? Just updated gamma and I’m not seeing anything like it maybe I’m dumb😂
Why not field strip the guns you don't take and sell to tehnicians the below 60% parts from both armors and guns should help a little and for the gun stripping you do not need tools as for armors you know the rest i hope
i know this is a old episode but please do not use ap ammo on mutants... its for armored targets, ap = armor piercing. Using them on mutants is a waste.
