Catching up on this series now that I have some downtime at work and damn HOW are you at 12k subs already. I cannot remember how early I subbed but it was early on, this channel has exploded! Really great content/commentary, its very fun to watch and never too loud or obnoxious. You deserve the success
hey man, once again, you can RIGHT CLICK GUNS, click MAINTAIN PARTS and click REPLACE (part) which will use 1/3 of the appropriate repair kit, it SIMPLIFIES REPAIRS SIGNIFICANTLY i do not recommend using the entire repair kit in one go, save one charge so that you can still use the repair kit for manually replacing parts/barrels this also applies to CLEANING PARTS WITHIN A GUN THAT ARE OVER 60 PERCENT, but instead it will use the appropriate CLEANING KIT (if a gun says "dirty (part)" you can right click the gun, maintain parts and use a charge of the appropriate cleaning kit to clean that part to 100%)
Yeah, repairing barrel on Kar98 and then using the good parts from the mosin can give him a rifle that is not worse than one he has currently, BUT dushman will sell ammo that he needs for that rifle. Hell even can repair all the other parts on that rifle and have bolt action rifle for both calibers
Should you ever die and respawn back at base, consider leaving glowsticks in your stash. They can be helpful navigating safer areas without draining power from light sources. Also consider getting Rolling tobacco instead of regular cigerettes, it reduces radiation faster and more effectively. Alternatively look for Potassium Iodide or Cystamine which are strong rad resistors

you should be able to replace parts without needing tools by just dragging the new parts onto the gun/armor you are repairing or am i actually tripping? someone let me know if im remembering this wrong. since the last time ive played was 2 weeks ago.
Bro... You have the Historic toolkit and as with any appropriate toolkit it lets you r/click on the gun and go to maintain parts. Where you can then replace broken parts. It's often cheaper to use a toolkit charge than it is to buy individual parts. If you have an axe or sledgehammer, you now have infinite wood, which you break down for hideout furniture or sell straight to the traders. R/click the tool and select chop wood. This can be done anywhere.
OK, How is it that Qloud was able to go into Jupiter without 1) a psy-helmet and 2) completing the brain scorcher quest? Is it because he is UNISG? Because I can't go into Jupiter even with a psh-helmet.
That guy you shot a ton of times was a rookie, so the AP bullets weren't that effective considering he had little to no armor most likely. He also was healing, he said so in the PDA messages/updates "You made me use my last medkit, I'll strip your corpse for that" or something along those lines, popped up during combat. Always good to keep half an eye on those messages, they'll give you insight onto what's happening around you quite frequently. Bandits in general don't tend to have much heavy armor, much better to use FMJ/HP on them, especially if you can land headshots.
psst, final thing: since you updated the game recently could you check for me if there is a Ukrainian Language Setting? i would check it myself but im having a rough time updating the game so i dont know if it would be worth the hassle of troubleshooting and all that stuff ty qloud
after updating gamma i got a problem which my pda is blurred and unclean, It is kinda weird to ask for help in commentary of RU-vid but if anyone knows please tell e how to fix it, I really need it.
Imagine stalker gamma as a full persistent world multiplayer game. No name tags so you never know if someones a bot. It would definitely end up toxic but it could work really well.
found in my game i am doing 4 advanced tool before finally finding basic but you dont need basic once you found advanced wich is nice, i was able to give both to the repair man and he sell better stuff, now i need expert tool but those are elusive
Finished loner series, seems unfinished :D Btw you can repair any weapon parts with your historic kit in your karabiner by right clicking the gun and maintaining it. Click replace part, it will consume 1 charge of repair kit but it's usefull when you can't find parts in good condition
For real, that simplified the entire process for me. I've found that one full repair kit has 5 charges, as do most long weapons have 5 internal parts. So 1 repair kit can replace all the parts in 1 weapon then it should bump the base condition up to a level that it can be repaired fully with some of the gun sprays and stuff

That bandit that wouldnt die in Jupiter is Nile. When i killed him he tanked 5 or 6 buckshots to the face point blank. I think he must be an important character or merchant considering he can take all that with no headgear
also note worthy that if you find a good gun but you lack the damn cleaning kit due to exper tools beeing needed you can just swap out gun parts on the get go besides the barrel, so if you find a good gun but lack the tool kit it make sure you may find a version of the same gun but with a good condition barrel so you can just repair the other parts swap them in and use the universal cleaning kit to "maintain" or swap the barrel
Different note: I like to turn up the hud fov quite a bit. (i keep it at around 9 instead of the default 6.5 (i think) Especially pistols look amazing doing this. If you want the zoom from the mcm to scale with it also turn up the scope/red dot sight/bad 3d scopes and pistol to the same value in mcm setting that's called "better scopes" or something. It should be at the top of the mcm settings

so for heavily armed stalkers (like the exosuit guy when you got the green stash at the beggining of the video) you might want to have a handy-dandy IED with you to sneak up behind them, plant a 30 second timer and leg that shit before it does the DreamyBull (Blows). thats some easy grenades and other good stuff for you there
oh one more thing: Ecologist disguise + IED's = BANK (i learnt that one during my pyromaniac ninja ((melee and explosions only ironman run)) and boy does this work wonders)

Some PDAs you find will be locked and you can pay to get them unlocked and normally youll get s stash location that way too! and don't forget tot take out the batteries when ur done to sell or use :P
Keep up the awesome content, happened upon your channel just as i started my annual binge of GAMMA, Im also doing my playthrough as UNSIG since i finished the loners story a while ago.
To try and fix the PDA right click issue I'd suggest turning off the Area view in the map, that radius it makes around locations made it impossible for me to fast travel to them in my game
Been watching since you had 800 - 1K, your first gamma series really blew up. I recently had background noise hissing issues. It was my compressor & expander. (if you read this, just watch a video on it, trust me.)
One could use all that muscle to clean up some loose ends and maybe take on some tough assignments for a day or two. There is no time limit on main quests. And if you disguise, they become indifferent to others. I dropped off loot after a couple days of tour with the boys (each packed to the fullest) and the crafting was set for quite awhile.
