I loved this game and its jankiness. It also let the crime-solving banter flow. Pity there were no chubby kids in this one for Lewis to rant about though

It always feels like Lewis is yearning to leave everything behind and just go have a massive drug trip in some random ass country that he knows nothing about. He just brings things like this up far too often.

obviously commenting very late, but had only just finished the game myself. In terms of the ending, I suspected it would not be Atlas based, and even if they had the bigger budget I hope it wouldn't be Atlas base, as it follows such a typical murder mystery formula to have this big evil thing, and it was just a petty crime of passion in the end. I suspected Emma throughout the game, she had killed her over the blackmail or something like that and Atlas was just a red herring. However the tape being the breaking point for the case is dumb. They surely could have found something else. Simon tells you that he was told Kate was the one who was having the affair or something like that, just as easy and cheap to film and more logical. I am disappointing by all the unsolved mysteries as well. What happened with Liam, who was the girl in the woods, the latter being particularly pointless. Again there are easy workaround for the liam case but they left it open which makes it frustrating.
i mean its not really contradiction in the beginning but i love it and Lewis is WAY more memeish then Lydia he is the creator of at least 2 fairly recent memes! Sherlock Holmes wasn’t a police investigator. Jenks is. The people in the game are smart enough to know that if they demand he get a warrant, he’d get one to dig up *every* skeleton in their closets. Better to not look suspicious and open a silly little safe for the nice inspector rather than give him a reason to turn the entire house upside down. When there’s a murder, not cooperating looks suspicious as fuck. You can see that in every character who lied to protect their petty problems and promptly got every deep dark secret dragged into the open by Jenks. It’s one thing if a cop comes around looking for trouble but if you’re literally a suspect for a murder that happened IN YOUR VILLAGE, maybe don’t obstruct justice so Jenks will go away as quickly and quietly as possible.

Lewis, you have to understand that there are many different physical ailments that need serious pain killer upkeep. I have to take a drug stronger than oxycodone several times a day just to move around. Without it, I'm literally useless and miserable. Don't be so quick to jump on someone for taking pk's, especially if it lets them function irl.
Quite a late comment but at 2:51:06, Simon asks to see Kate's driving license so he can expose the pattern on the tape, but how could he possibly know about her driving license having tape on it if he hadn't seen it before? It turns out he had nothing to do with the murder and therefore wouldn't know anything about the license having tape on it and so him asking the Inspector to see the license is a plot hole.
Is that really the ending? It seems like such an anticlimax! Kinda like the TV show "Lost" the entirety of it was really enjoyable except for the ending!

1:36:11 WHAT ARE YOU talking about LEWIS yes its not hard to learn but there are people that just cant or don't want to learn point of reference the NAXARAMAS fight where you just go from left to right you CANT PUG (aka with random people you picked up from chat) and even as a guild people still get its wrong i played back in Wrath Of The Lich King (WOTLK\Wrath) and there were weekly quest sending you to older raid tiers like Nax (which was back for Wrath) and when it wasn't regular content anymore you literally could not do it everyone died and you lose a few hours foolishly attempting it. MY POINT IS there is a skill gap its not that hard to pass but some people just don't and them the rest get dragged down with them so you either help those fools or you get rid of em' in the Bristol canal hhh
