In this session, the discussion was held with Sindhis living across the world as a diaspora. The organisations made by Sindhis and the agendas of their organisations were also hashed over.
Dr. Gul Metlo, the Founding Member of “The Sindhi Association of Europe” and a resident of London for a long time, said, “The Sindhi Association of Europe is a completely secular organization. It has a network with Sindhis living in all corners of the world.” He further said that according to his estimate, the population of Sindhis in the world was more than 8 crores; and there were around 450 Active Organizations of Sindhis in 150 countries of the world.
Mashhood Qazi from Canada participated in the session through a video link. He said that the organization he is associated with was working for the people of
Sindh, for their language, and culture in Canada; and with their efforts, the Sindhi language is now being taught in the Calgary Province of Canada. He further told that his organization was spreading awareness about the Indus Valley Civilization and the History of Sindh in Canada.
