A balance update is a great chance to test new ideas, explore various deckbuilding possibilities, and just have fun with the game feeling fresh. However, those new ideas can also be difficult to pilot at first, or not completely refined.
Then, it is important to take a step back and focus on the elements we can control, and improve, rather than treat those brews the same way we would with an established meta deck. To do so, I asked the participants to follow a little checklist at the start of every turn, so they constantly have the important elements in mind to make a decision.
