I have corsair RGB RAM and Thermaltake RGB fans (4). I use a PWM/RGB hub (not TT or corsair, just an offbrand). How do I get iCUE to recognize the TT fans?
can someone please reply? I have 3x toughfan rgb, usb port on the controller is broken, can I use this controller to make the fans work again rgb and fan speed?
Hi Adem.940, Yes, this controller will work with the toughfan fans, TOUGHFAN RGB (CL-F135/F136), You can connect them to this controller, but the TTRGB PLUS software will not control this controller, You would then have to use your RGB header on your motherboard (or other controller), and a PWM speed controller (motherboard or other controller). If you want to keep using the TTRGB plus software, you will need to find a direct replacement for the controller that is broken. I hope that helps, good luck and have fun!!!
@@HardwareArtisan thanks for the reply, I am really disappointed with this product so much, the fans are great but I don't know why would they make the damn controller so fragile, the micro usb socket was soldered very poorly, I didn't even force it, I just pulled the cable back and it came with the usb socket... tomorrow I will take it to a phone repair shop to see if they can solder it back, if not, I will just use the default fan speed and rgb without usb connection..
Hello, So all of 2023 hardware lighting did save and reflect to my fans upon closing icue. But now when I close icue all the fans go to white color except the aio panel and the ram does stick the hardware settings I made which is green color. Would u have any idea what's happening?
Hi YILMAM, ttrgb plus software will not control this device. This device allows you to control thermaltake fans using another RGB source, such as AuraSync or any Motherboard software. With some adapter cables you can use iCUE to control it as well. But, ttrgb plus software will not see this controller. you would want to continue using the controller that came with the fans if you want to use the ttrgb plus software. I hope that helps, let me know if not. Thanks for watching!!
Hey Artisan, i just got a Thermaltake Divider 370 case which comes with 3 pre installed fans and a controller hub, the hub needs to be connected to a PSU SATA connector, to a fan header and there is a signal bridge cable that needs to be connected to an addressable led header but i dont know in which add header should i connect. I have an Asus Prime A Z790 MB and it has 3 addressable 5v headers and one that its 12v and the manual says its the Aura RGB addressable header, so if i want to control the fan lights via armory/aura software and to sync, i need to use that 12v rgb header or i can use any of them? Thanks!
Would this work with the newer corsair QX fan series? With the newer hub and all that? Curious to know, because I'm looking to build a new PC with a thermaltake pc case, but I'd like to have the newer corsair AIO.
Hi musacekic, this device won't do that. This controller give you the ability to sync Thermaltake fans specifically to an external RGB source. However, there are ways to get Corsair Fans to sync with Aura Sync, check out this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DQ8N2ESBM9s.html And this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rnspMfwBezo.html (I can't recommend this device exactly, but it's a possible solution) These videos will show a few ways to adapt 4 pin corsair fans to 3 pin ARGB and use Aura Sync. Good Luck, Have Fun and thanks for watching!!
THANK YOU. I just finished a huge install of 6 of these fans for 2 radiators in a huge workstation build running Linux and I was frustrated I couldn’t simply run the fans faster than a slow baseline unless I was running windows and ran the ttrgb software at all times.
Hi TheGhostOf2020, I'm happy this controller solved your issues. We could debate the pros and cons of thermaltakes connection setup to begin with, but I do appreciate the fact that they have recognized that not everybody "can" or "wants" to run their software and released a device like this, it's not the first time they have made attempts to accomadate everybody. Good Luck and Have Fun!!! Thanks for watching!!!
If you have a moment. I have the tt 280mm rgb premium edition, The rgb controler works great. I just purchased the swafan ex rgb 3 pack 140mm and the controller doesn't seem them. Do I need to add the controller that came with the new fans. Their website says its compatible. Any help is great cause its all installed correctly they just don't light or spin Yet the ring fans and pump light and work
I would like to see, how to connect a Fan that has argb 3-pin (5v) and a PWM cable and convert to the 9 pin Thermaltake connector. Basically make a Thermaltake CT120/140 fan with the same connector as a Riing Quid.
Curious to see if this works for the Thermaltake RGB fittings, so I don't have to do the current make shift I have now so that it works with aura sync. I'll test them out and report back later
