First off, looks like a great product that would fit my needs. Second it would have greatly helped if you would have put text on the screen of the product that you are showing here. When I go to your sales page I have to keep playing back the video to hear the model number that you're saying and I'm having trouble locating specifically which device this one is. I'm still not sure. You have a lot of products. Which one is being showed here in this video? Edit: I figured it out. Requesting a little advice. So one of my computers located in my living room (I have 2 - one upstairs in my master bedroom and one downstairs in my living room) , which is the one that I want to connect to my TV located on the other side of my living room in the corner. The computer is connected to a monitor via an old style VGA connection - no HDMI port available on this particular monitor - and so the computer's HDMI port is not currently being used. I wanted to have a second bluetooth keyboard and mouse to use with my living room computer while I sit on my couch and use my computer while sitting in front of my TV. I think a bluetooth keyboard and mouse would work just fine with the computer at those distances - the computer is located just off to the side of the couch maybe about 12 feet or so, maybe less. So my question is, do I really need the KVM functionality or could I get away with using one of your less expensive devices like one you have listed on Amazon - Orei HDMI Extender UltraHD Over Single Cat6/Cat7 Cable 4K @ 60Hz with HDR & IR Control - Up to 165 ft EDID Management. Or, do you need something specifically designed for computers, or would this device automatically adjust the signal and optimize it for my 50 inch TV. Thank you in advance. Your RU-vid videos have been extremely informative and educational. I've learned a lot just by watching them. Can the USB connection support anything other than just a keyboard and mouse? For example, could you hook up a USB thumb drive (USB2 speeds) or a Wacom tablet to enable pen use/annotations? What about a PowerPoint clicker?
i want to have my pc in my computer room and then be able to use that pc on my tv in bedroom and my TV. in living room, what do I need to make that possible
I'm probably a bit late, but this sort of IP KVM extender will work for keyboard & mouse across long distances (as long as the Cat6 cable). For video i'd use a dedicated fibreoptic hdmi, otherwise this thing won't have the bandwidth to support 4k 120hz or 8k 60hz.
Whether it be headphones, a mouse and keyboard, or whatever else you can think of, wired connections are always more stable and dependable than wireless. I like wireless as well. I'm sick of all the wires but I prefer one-to-one control especially if I'm playing games. I don't need any hangups whether that be a dying battery in one of the controllers or a bad/weak signal
