Hello, I am one of your customers and I am really excited about this product, but I have a question: Could I use a normal motor instead of a servo motor for something like this and could you give me the circuit diagram for this circuit?
@UpsideDownLabs
@UpsideDownLabs 4 дня назад
We have a complete documentation on using Muscle BioAmp BisCute. Please find the link below: docs.upsidedownlabs.tech/hardware/bioamp/muscle-bioamp-biscute/ Particularly if you want to control a servo motor using Muscle BioAmp BisCute then we recommend using 3.3V power pin of Arduino Uno to power BisCute and 5V power pin to power servo claw. You can simply do a google search on how to connect servo motor to Arduino Uno and you will find a lot of articles for the same. We have not tried controlling a normal motor but you can give it a try.

Will this sensor work on people suffering with hand paralysis?
@UpsideDownLabs
@UpsideDownLabs Год назад
It depends on the severity of paralysis. As far as Muscle BioAmp BisCute or any other EMG sensor is concerned, it can only record the electrical activity generated in the muscles. So in case of partial paralysis, it may record some of the EMG signals but in full paralysis, the chances are close to nill.

We have not updated the GitHub Repository of Muscle BioAmp BisCute with these codes but you can use the codes given below: 1. Claw Controller: github.com/upsidedownlabs/BioAmp-EXG-Pill/tree/main/software/ClawController 2. LED Bar Graph: github.com/upsidedownlabs/BioAmp-EXG-Pill/tree/main/software/LEDBarGraph In case you need a servo claw, then get it from our online store. store.upsidedownlabs.tech/product/servo-claw/

I am using bioamp patchy ...my servo os only vibrating
@UpsideDownLabs
@UpsideDownLabs 3 месяца назад
Hey, How many servo motors are you trying to control? Please note that Muscle BioAmp Patchy is a single channel muscle sensor, so 1 Muscle BioAmp Patchy can only be used to control 1 servo motor. Also the minimum voltage required for both Muscle BioAmp Patchy and the servo motor is 5V.

Will bioamp patchy work...with this code
@UpsideDownLabs
@UpsideDownLabs 2 месяца назад
Yes Muscle BioAmp Patchy will work with this code. The only problem you will face is that both servo claw and Muscle BioAmp Patchy needs at least 5V to work and Arduino Uno only have one pin for 5V.

Hey, i have doubt. When i put the code you provided, I am not getting any value in the serial plotter of Arduino. Instead i am getting reversed question mark and boxes. Can you help ?

Y u have made these products?
@UpsideDownLabs
@UpsideDownLabs Год назад
We made these products so that students and researchers can explore the field of neuroscience by measuring biopotential signals from their body. Particularly in this video EMG signals are measured to control a servo claw which is the basic concept of how EMG controlled prosthetic hand works. Another demo is of controlling an LED bar using muscle signals which is the basic concept of measuring muscle strength. Using this people can make a project where they can track the progress of people who are affected by paralysis by measuring their muscle strength over a certain period of time. There can be various other real world applications of EMG sensors which you can easily get on the internet.

We 3D printed the servo claw using the link given below: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4300387 The servo used is SG90
