I completely agreed with every single player review Mattie and that includes selling Trippier. Time to start moving forward with fresh players with new motivation.

The only problem with letting pope go would be needing two keepers . I don’t think we’d have the money to buy two keepers especially when we need cover in other vital areas

Totally agree with your keep, sell or loan assessment, especially Miggy and Longstaff. Miggy is without doubt a brilliant player, but he only has one foot, how many more goals could he have scored if he had a right foot ?. As regards Longstaff, I have never rated him as a quality player, too many stray passes.

With the amount and length of injuries we had there is more under the surface. The medical team need a big clear out and a fresh approach brought. Our outdated training ground and facilities also won’t help. I also wonder why the head physio left halfway through the season. Was he crap or did he not like the clubs approach?

100% agree with every assessment. We certainly need to clear the deadwood. It speaks volumes matt wouldn't let a single loan player back in the squad. Issue is of course, recruitment. All these players moving on under the right circumstances is fine, but we need affordable fresh blood, or it means nothing

Minteh is a good one to view pre season and then loan depending on any incoming players in that same position

agree with all of these completely, i'm hoping we give all these sell/loan options a go so we can finally get ourselves ready to get in the champions league again (and this time it won't be too early), Personally i'd love us to grab two CB and then grab Takefusa Kubo from Real Sociedad to replace Almiron, I think he'll play excellently with Isak and Gordon's style and has the experience yet also the wiggle room for growth which is perfect for us.

The issue is that we can’t get rid of a player on the basis that they aren’t elite enough, we don’t have enough money for that we’ll just end up with too small a squad. We need to replace players as we bring in new ones for that position. Eg sell Almiron and get a replacement winger, sell Wilson as we get a new striker in etc. I agree that several of our players are not up to scratch and in an ideal world would be replaced asap but ffp won’t allow it.

Agree but would keep longstaff played when injured most of the season, a good pre season to get him back to total fitness and he's a good squad player., not many good box to box midfield players out there and the few are worth daft money, can tonali play in same team as Bruno? Not in a 433 system they both want to play in the same position, maybe in a 4231, Bruno and TONALI as a double pivot, will stop a lot of the soft goals through the middle, both capable on sitting deep or going forwards then required..
