Still can't quite believe it. Passed the ball straight to the ballgirl, she saw it but turned away and got hit. Even a warning would be too much given the fact there was no aggression in the pass either but to be outright disqualified is ludicrous.
That is a shot, not a "pass". It's slow motion and see how fast that ball is going. Definitely struck the ball hard because she was upset at something (lost 2 points in a row, went from 0-30 to 30-30). I'm sure she didn't want to hit the ball girl but still it hit her and she didn't deserve that. If you can't control your emotions and make a reckless move, you can get disqualified. Same as Djokovic really...
@@ssaboniss _Same as Djokovic really..._ I disagree, Djokovic didn't care where the ball went, this time, the player clearly shot the ball towards the ball-girl for her to do catch it... a little too hard probably. I still don't believe they should've been disqualified. IMHO, it's the ball-girl's job to pay attention to the balls.
@andreaslaube1872: _Shame on the opponents for forcing this decisson_ I fail to see where they _forced_ anything. They just pointed out to the umpire that the ball-girl was hurt and crying.
It was very obvious that the Player was purely "hitting" the ball to the other side of the court - because that would be the next "server's end"! The Umpire made a wrong decision here!
Ball girl crying her heart for getting hit with a PASS. She even saw it coming too. Stay at home playing dolls or smthing wt hell are you doing in rolland garros
This referee should be disqualified. And these ball kids are a disaster, they cry at the slightest contact with the ball. Such situations, at this level of competition, are absurd.
This is outrageous, pathetic on the part of the ball girl and she should be sacked from ever doing that job again. To get into such a state is ridiculous.
A ball girl got hit by a ball and the player who clearly passed the ball when this same ball girl had her hands with balls already, instead of avoiding the ball or actually catch it... No, got hit, cried, and the pair was disqualified. Most ridiculous thing i've seen in tennis maybe since ever...
I feel bad for the girl. Now she's the center of attention for all the wrong reasons, and it's partly her fault that a pair got thrown out of the tournament simply because she was inattentive for a second and got hit by a ball. She must be so embarrassed and that's probably the reason she was crying. What a scumbag referee doing such a thing to that poor girl.
referee just following the rules. I just wonder what level of clumsiness by the ball kids is allowed if the rule is such? It is incredible. In addition it was not at all hard hit and she starts to cry. What the f….? How much money did it cost the players? Anybody asking? When Federer feeding the ball on much higher speed to a ball kid and the kid is able to catch it, it is a viral video. Just imagine the ball kid would be as clumpsy and would try to avoid to ball and even that so clumpsy that it gets hit and thens starts to cry and Federer gets disqualified from a grand slam final. cool.
_Shame on you Sorribes_ ... because she pointed out to the umpire that the girl was hurt, and crying? don't get me wrong, I still believe the person making the decision to disqualify them went too far.
Marie Bouzkova is one of my fave players and many might be quick to cry "petty", but as the tournament director said there, it's a sad situation: the ballgirl was overwhelmed by it all (not necessarily hurt) and was crying, so that left them with no choice, intentional or not. It's a sad, sad situation 🎼🎹
You're wrong, watch the video again. Sato passed the Ball. Her crying doesn't force them to do anything, except for maybe get a better ball girl next time. Horrifying, that you even try to defend this decision. Girls tears, they make you brainless monkeys.
Nope... You are wrong... Every ball boy/girl should pay more atention who serves and is there a one ball left on player, just cuz this situation might happen... I mean, if you cant take hit from a ball, you shouldnt be there just to ruin someone tournament
