I love this interviewer. I've seen a lot of the interviews she's made lately and she's so kind and polite to any actor. She really make them feel confortable over the whole conversation. Also, she knows very well what she's talking about and the actors are always the center of the talk. So good work!
Ok I just find it so funny that Alan Ruck improvised the part in the first ep where he is telling the little girl that one day he will own all the water on his ranch…. That line was so genius. Drew me into the show. Such a damn perfect cast.
i have to give credit to the interviewer she is good and knows what she is talking about . she makes it comfortable to watch it and gives space for answers and humor .
It's so weird not hearing him being sarcastic all the time and actually talking in coherent sentences rather than 'You're a real good job doer' :D He's fantastic in the role
The Jeri/Roman scenes made the second season. Not to take away from the killer professionalism in every aspect of the show, my favorite high points and the key to Succession's success is the smart, unexpected, - naturally executed, to get that dropped mouth humor response from the audience. The high angled camera in the bathroom when Roman's doing his thing at the door was that moment for me. The eye-popping, mouth-dropping, eek, laughing response from the audience is what I love to see writers strive for at least a few times during a season, in a movie, on stage. Quinten Tarantino move over, the intensity these writers create is music to my senses, they have my complete attention while intently watching, they command the viewers' focus, my mind never wanders. The production is pretty revolutionary, actually, as producers will up their game creating new projects. A win for the audience.
Interesting that he talked about how he found his character because before seeing succession, I imagined the Rome character is what he was like in real life.
Well, it's sad, but it's somehow normal too. It's true for all the people who have discovered their talent early and put all the effort into developing it. I guess it's even worse for professional sportsmen. A good actor has to be intelligent, they need a lot of knowledge about life and culture, so they do know something and can learn something else, but a sportsman knows nothing because he spent all his life training 😳 that's really scary 😳
