I sought the Engage talks after part 2 of your interview with Don. Best accompaniment when I'm illustrating my books, but sometimes I have to stop and give them my full attention because some of these people just blow me away. My favourites so far: Prof. Okoth Okombo (gave me goosebumps), Carol Musyoka (how did I not know about this woman before?), Clifford Oluoch (kept me pensive for quite a while after), Mike Eldon (I'd watched the documentary about his son and his talk reminded me of how amazing his son was and I now know where he got it from), Ken Njiru (laughed my sides off), Mwihaki Muraguri (this was just incredible story telling) and Caroline Mutoko (this one hit me hard, right in the chest). I liked many others, but these were the ones that stood out to me, though I have more to listen to. Thanks for letting me know about Engage Kenya. It's been a fun experience listening to the speakers. Now, back into the "rabbit hole" I go as I search for your suggestions. Lol.
Engage is one of my favorite show. It has encouraged to be vulnerable and speak the truth in love. Am not a public person at all but this is a platform I feel I can stand and speak about my life. I loved Kendi the girl that is dyslexia?! yes uuuuho I loved her story!!!! ☺
Engage is powerful.. I've attended several of them.. I missed the one you were one of the speakers Caroline.. But I'm happy my face is somewhere in this post.. Thanks for letting people know about engage
