Great interview! I love it when they talk about how to handle adversity. They both have such interesting perspectives, and keeping things in perspective is really great advice.

So informative, I had no idea what it's like for each of the ranks in the company. It's great that you take the time to explain the terminology. I love hearing/learning these terms. Megan please keep up the great work. Indiana, thank you for sharing with all of us.

So nice to meet Indiana Woodward up close and personal. She is one of my favorites among the younger dancers and one of the reasons I was disappointed spring season was canceled was I hoped it would bring her elevation to principal. A couple years ago I caught a "Nutcracker" matinee at which she was making her debut as Dewdrop (my favorite role in that ballet) and she was terrific, as she is in just about everything she does.

This was another amazing interview. The stories you share about being thrown into performances under such crazy circumstances are terrifying. It’s so amazing the performances look so flawless. We don’t know the insanity happening back stage😳. Also, I love your experiences of the struggles at the higher ranks. I loved hearing about Indiana’s global perspective. It is so valuable to informing our sense of appreciation for so many things. Megan, your authentic interest in others and learning are so evident in these interviews and truly admirable. Yay WSB shout out! I didn't know Indiana went to WSB early on. She once dropped into an adult rec class I was in while she was still at SAB (she must've been visiting family). I saw how special her dancing is and learned her name. I've been following her career ever since and been fortunate enough to see her dance when I've visited NYC. Remarkable young lady! I also want to let both of you know that I went to college specifically to do one thing and ended up changing careers half way, so not knowing what your studies will lead to is totally okay. You'll figure it out. ❤️

Would love to hear you explore the pointe shoe thing - why is NYCB so big on Freeds? Are you required to wear them or just strongly encouraged to, how does that work, etc etc?

Wait, if you are a soloist or principal, you never will be cast in corps roles? or fill in for corps?

Not that unusual flying from the US to Europe as unaccompanied minors. Children who are raised like that become very flexible and mature. My children born in HK used to go back and forth to London or NY. LAter from LA to London. Unaccompanied. They grew up amazing. Travel is the best education there is!
