The jacket looks too small for you. One size up will fit snug on you, but the size you have seem too tight. I have the 118 Perfecto my self they are good jacket. 👍
I could probably wear three different sizes. I actually measure 36 chest and my 36 618 fits very snug in the belly just like this guy’s. Schott tell you to size up for ‘regular’, actual size for ‘slim-fit’-which is about right. I wear my 36 ‘Ramones style’, skinny with a single layer underneath. A 38 wouldn’t look slouchy and a better choice if regularly zipped. There’s also the less-fitted 118 with an inch more length in the back and arms, which i’d probably get true-to-size, again for a more ‘regular’ fit. Even a 40 isn’t ridiculous and probably the one I’d get if actually motorcycling layered-up or wanted to use it more like a coat. A lot of guys wear these things big-looks wrong to me if worn casually (should be fitted) but whatever!

I have the same jacket I first bought a size 38 and felt too tight then bought a 40 and feels much better but the 613s will never be the jacket for you if you have belly I have same issue “beer + tasty food” I think the 613 not S would be better in the same size because sizing up enough to fit the belly would cause the shoulders to look sloppy… Wish it had the air holes on the underarms as the normal 613 because on motorcycle air creeps in and inflates the jacket. I weight 83kgs and I’m 1.80 tall size 38 feels small in both 613 and 613s can zip up but feels too tight size 40 feels tight on 613s would not size up to 42 I would rather buy 613 not S
I’ve had my 36 for years and it still fits but an inch of Christmas belly is soon revealed by the Perfecto zipper. These really don’t look good on guys with bigger bellies than chests as they taper in
Really nice jacket. However, you just have a shirt underneath the jacket and it already looks a bit tight for you leaving no room for layering in colder weather. Actually, 613 is not a good fit for your body type. Schott 613 is a slim fit jacket for guys who are slender or slim built. You are more a burly muscle type of guy, so you should go for the Schott 118 which has a more relaxed fit. Most guys tend to put on some weight as we age so I’m afraid that you will probably outgrow this jacket in a few years. Nice video, by the way.
What size are you and what size did you buy? You are very correct in that it should be bought to your size and then broken in over time. Steer hide is very stiff and the model you bought 613s is made for slim (muscle) fit, S standing for Slim not steer hide as many presume. I will be buying one soon and you have a similar build to me, so your thoughts would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Good review but can you do a part 2 in the same outfit but have jacket fully zipped up with those 513s and show full front and backsides, not just your torso
